Chapter 6

The Yahushaic Covenant

What is The Renewed Covenant?

The Yahushaic Covenant is the vehicle through which we become children of Yahuah:

John 1:12
Yet to all who did receive Yahusha as the (fulfillment of the Plan of Yahuah to send a human) Messiah (as foretold by the prophets), to those who believed in (the covenant that bears) his name, he gave the right to become children of Yahuah.

Detailed definition

The Apostle Sha’ul defines The Yahushaic Covenant below where we grow to the fullness of deity in our bodies:

Colossians 2 - Spiritual Fullness

6 So then, just as you received Yahusha the Messiah as King, continue to live your lives in (covenant with) him, 7 rooted and built up in (covenant with) him, strengthened in the faith (which establishes the Law in your heart) as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness (for Yahuah has covered the decrees in the Law which demanded your death with the blood of the Lamb)

8 See to it that (by the sealing of your mind with the Shema) no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive (pagan Hellenized) philosophy, which depends on human tradition (Christianity is built on just such things) and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Yahusha (Yahusha is not God incarnate but came “in the flesh” fully human in every way. Yahusha was The Passover Lamb not the Easter Pig of Ishtar. He was raised on the Sabbath not Sunday; he was born on the Feast of Tabernacles not Christmas and so forth)

9 For in (covenant with the) Messiah all the fullness of the Deity lives in (you in) bodily form,

So far in Colossians Sha’ul has defined The Yahushaic Covenant as:

·         To “live in” covenant with or live by the example of Yahusha, we must be obedient to the Law as he was

·         We can obtain the fullness of deity (spiritual perfection) as we live in covenant with Yahuah through Yahusha in obedience to His commandments

Let’s continue with Colossians 2 and see that what I am saying is true, Sha’ul was teaching in verse 9 that in The Yahushaic Covenant you can be brought to spiritual perfection (fullness of deity):

Colossians 2
10 and in (covenant with) Messiah (The Yahushaic Covenant) you have been brought to fullness (of deity). Yahusha is the head over every power and authority. 11 In (covenant with) him (The Yahushaic Covenant) you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands (transposition of circumcision).

Here we see Sha’ul teaching the physical to spiritual parallel of circumcision. Circumcision is still valid and true in The Yahushaic Covenant just as is everything in the Law. Only now the Law has been transposed to “written on our hearts” spiritually and circumcision along with it.

Your whole self-ruled by the flesh (carnal mind which was hostile to the Law of Yahuah) was put off when you were circumcised (in the spirit which is the commitment to keep the Law) by the Messiah (The High Priest), 12 having been buried with him in baptism (consecrated as Priest through mikveh/ritual cleansing by water defined in the Law is still valid), in which you were also raised (into newness of life in obedience to the Law of Yahuah) with him through your faith in the promises of Yahuah, who raised Yahusha from the dead. 13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh (Sha’ul is talking to previous uncircumcised Gentiles), Yahuah made you alive with Yahusha. He forgave us all our sins (of violating His Law through The Passover Lamb), 14 having canceled out the certificate of debt, which were His death decrees against us; he has taken it (the decrees against us in the Law which amount to a Certificate of Debt) away, nailing it (The Certificate of Debt not the Law) to the stake. 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities (by defeating the Law of Sin and Death), he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them (defeated death) by the stake.

I want to clarify and add to what Sha’ul is defining as The Yahushaic Covenant. So far in Colossians 2, Sha’ul has defined The Yahushaic Covenant as:

  • To “live in” the example set by Yahusha, we must be obedient to the Law as he was

  • We can obtain the fullness of deity as we live in covenant with Yahuah through Yahusha in obedience to His Commandment

  • We must be Circumcised in the flesh and Spirit which is the commitment to keep His Law

  • We must be consecrated as Priests and Kings through Mikveh/Baptism or ritual cleansing defined in the Law

  • The decrees in the Law which amount to a Certificate of Debt have been covered by the Blood of the Lamb.

  • We must walk in Newness of Life: the Law with active decrees known as the Law of Sin and Death (sin and you die) has been replaced now with the Law of the Spirit of Life (the Law with the decrees against us for disobedience has been covered, the definition of Grace) so now the Law leads to life as we are restored to perfect obedience through faith in The Yahushaic Covenant disarming the powers and authorities that once held us captive to the fear of death!

That, so far, is what Sha’ul has identified as The Yahushaic Covenant.

Let’s continue with Colossians 2:

Freedom from Human Rules… continuing with Col 2

16 Therefore do not let anyone (the pagans in Colossia all around you) judge you by what you eat or drink (as you keep the Dietary Laws for good health), or with regard to (your keeping) the festivals of Yahuah, a New Moon celebration (as you keep Yahuah’s lunar calendar not the pagan solar calendar) or a Sabbath day (as you rest on The Sabbath and not on Dias Solis the pagan day of worship). 17 (You do) These (things as they) are a shadow (cast by Spiritual Truth) of the (good) things that were to come; the reality (in spirit), however, is found in The Yahushaic Covenant (they teach us through physical to spiritual rehearsals of the work of salvation).

This is a very important scripture here. Christianity teaches that Sha’ul is saying “let no one (Jew) judge you for violating the Law and not keeping the Sabbaths and Holy Days of Yahuah” and that is the exact opposite of what Sha’ul is teaching here. According to the Christian Church, Jews were spying on Sha’ul and following him all over Asia Minor trying to “convert” pagans to Judaism. This is absurd, totally contrary to fact and Biblical witness.

We see Sha’ul teaching the Gentiles to keep the feasts on multiple occasions, and specifically teaching them to keep Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

1 Corinthians 5
Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole batch of dough? 7 Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Yahusha, our Passover lamb has been sacrificed (on Passover not Good Friday). 8 Therefore let us keep the Festival of Unleavened Bread, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Sha’ul taught them to keep the feasts in light of Yahusha and in their true transposed spiritual intent. So it was Sha’ul who was teaching the Colossians and all those assemblies he established to keep the feasts. It was the pagans in those pagan communities condemning them for it. Exactly the same state you and I are in today, we are condemned by the same exact establishment, Babylon and its rituals (Christmas, Sunday, Good Friday, Easter, etc.) when we become obedient to Yahuah and His rituals. Let’s continue with Sha’ul’s definition of The Yahushaic Covenant in Colossians 2.

Sha’ul goes on to teach the transposition of the Law from physically written in stone to spiritually written on our hearts. Sha’ul says these things which he taught them to keep in the Law (Kosher, Feasts, Sabbaths, and New Moons) were designed to teach them of greater spiritual truths by physical example… physical to spiritual parallels.  Sha’ul says they are physical shadows (training aids, rehearsals, examples, and tutors) designed to teach us of greater spiritual things that were to come in The Yahushaic Covenant.

So let us add to Sha’ul’s definition as the Spiritual Fulfillment found in The Yahushaic Covenant:

·    To “live in” the example set by Yahusha, we must be obedient to the Law as he was

·    We can obtain the fullness of deity as we live in covenant with Yahuah through Yahusha in obedience to His Commandments

·    We must be circumcised in the flesh which is the commitment to keep His Law

·    We must be consecrated as Priests and Kings through Mikveh/Baptism or ritual cleansing defined in the Law

·    The decrees in the Law which amount to a Certificate of Debt has been covered by the Blood of the Lamb.

·    We must walk in Newness of Life: the Law with active decrees known as the Law of Sin and Death (sin and you die) has been replaced now with the Law of the Spirit of Life (the Law with the decrees against us for disobedience has been covered, the definition of Grace) so now the Law leads to life as we are restored to perfect obedience through faith in The Yahushaic Covenant disarming the powers and authorities that once held us captive to the fear of death!

·   We must keep the Law - The Kosher Laws, Spring and Fall Feasts, Sabbaths, and New Moons are to be kept in The Yahushaic Covenant as they teach us through physical metaphors and examples of the Spiritual Kingdom and Plan of Yahuah. We are to learn from them as we study physical to spiritual parallels and keep them in honor of Yahusha as they are Yahuah’s witness of him.

Sha’ul continues in his definition of The Yahushaic Covenant in Colossians 2:

18 Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you (now Sha’ul is referring to Jews who disqualified them based on bloodline not knowing they were The House of Israel). Such a person (Pharisees) also goes into great detail about what they have seen (and how they see it); they are puffed up (full of pride) with idle notions by their unspiritual mind (teaching doctrines of men that nullify the word of Yahuah). 19 They have lost connection with the head (show a total disconnect with The Yahushaic Covenant), from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as Yahuah causes it to grow.

20 Since you died (in carnal mind) with Yahusha to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules (which are commandments of men called Takkanots found in The Talmud): 21 “Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!”? 22 These rules, which have to do with things that are all destined to perish with use, are based on merely human commands and teachings. 23 Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom (coming from Jewish Rabbis and Jewish Mystics), with their self-imposed (ways to worship), their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.

Christianity teaches that Sha’ul is talking about Yahuah’s commandments here. The human commands and teachings Sha’ul is referring to are NOT the Laws in the Torah. The Eternal Law of Yahuah is not by human commands, but written by the hand of Yahuah in stone, and now transposed to written on our hearts. Sha’ul is speaking of the literally thousands upon thousands of extra-Biblical traditions and rules “added” to the Torah that composed what is called The Talmud. These “rules” added to scripture by human commands and teachings are called Takkanots and ma’asims of the Pharisees. We see Yahusha confront the Pharisees over and over as he overturned the system of Rabbinical Judaism and re-established the Torah. It is the very reason Yahusha ran afoul with the High Priests and Pharisees. Sha’ul is simply telling the new converts to keep that which Yahuah commanded and ignore that which is human commands/traditions. Keep the spiritual intent of the letter of the Law; keep the Sabbath and Holy Days in honor of Yahusha’s fulfillment of them. Learn while in a physical world what The Spiritual Kingdom of Yahuah is through physical to spiritual parallels.

So in Colossians Chapter 2, we see the Apostle Sha’ul define the Spiritual Fulfillment found in The Yahushaic Covenant as follows:

  • Live in (covenant with) Yahusha – you do that by walking as he walked and doing as he did… by being obedient to the Law of Yahuah. It is not the hearers of the Law who are found righteous, but the DOERS of the Law who will be declared righteous. His Law is our instructions in righteousness and we are to obey them out of love not obligation as the Law now leads to our eternal life.
  • Obtain the Fullness of Deity or Spiritual Perfection - We can obtain the fullness of Deity in our physical bodies by the renewing of our mind as we set our eyes on following Yahusha’s example and obeying Yahuah’s instructions in righteousness defined by His Law now written on our hearts.
  • Circumcision still defines the sons of Yahuah; physical circumcision was a metaphor for spiritual circumcision of our hearts.
  • Mikveh still cleanses – Total immersion into water still cleanses our bodies of sin making us “white as snow” and initiates us into The Yahushaic Covenant as defined in the Law
  • the Law is still the foundation - the Law of Sin and Death (the Law with active decrees) has been fulfilled. the Law of the Spirit of Life now reigns (the Law with the decrees covered leading to perfect obedience and eternal life).
  • The Blood of the Passover Lamb still covers sin – Sha’ul explains that Yahusha as the final Passover Lamb permanently covers the decrees in the Law that demanded our death as those decrees (not the Law) were nailed to the cross.
  • The Feasts/Sabbaths/New Moon Celebrations/Kosher Laws are still valid – Sha’ul teaches us to keep these things of Yahuah in obedience as they were given as physical teaching tools (tutors) that teach us what we need to know about the Kingdom of Yahuah which is a Spiritual Kingdom we cannot see, touch, hear, or taste. The ONLY way we can learn of this Kingdom while on Earth is by keeping His ordained times.  Yahusha is the Messiah because he fulfilled the meaning of the Spring Feasts (Feasts of Passover, First Fruits, Weeks). We are to “keep them in remembrance of him” as Yahusha commanded and as Sha’ul teaches “keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread not with the Levin of malice and wickedness” as he again taught the feasts in their true spiritual application.
  • Ignore human tradition and commandments of men – all of them, those imposed by any religion outside of the Law of Yahuah.

Basically what Sha’ul is teaching is that all 6 previous covenants combined teach us physically the Kingdom of Yahuah and we become citizens of that kingdom by entering into covenant with Yahuah through Yahusha. We know we are in The Yahushaic Covenant when we are obedient to the Law and keep Yahuah’s ordained Sabbaths/Feasts. We must understand His Kingdom through these physical to spiritual parallels found in His Word.

Very simply stated, The Yahushaic Covenant is the transposition of all previous 6 covenants from physical examples, shadows, and metaphors to their true spiritual reality in the Kingdom of Yahuah. I covered this in great detail in my book the Kingdom of Yahuah. The Yahushaic Covenant is literally defined by the Law of Yahuah as it was transposed from written in stone in the Mosaic Covenant to written on our hearts.

This transposition of the Law of Yahuah is “The New Covenant” which is a marriage covenant:

Ezekiel 36: 26, 27
I will give you a new heart (for my Law and write my Law on it) and put a new spirit (of loving obedience) in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone (legalistic observance of the Law without love) and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

Jeremiah 31:31-34
31 “Behold, days are coming,” declares Yahuah, “when I will make a new covenant with The House of Israel and with The House of Judah, 32 not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband (marriage covenant) to them,” declares Yahuah. 33 “But this is the (new marriage) covenant which I will make with The House of Israel after those days,” declares Yahuah, “I will put My law (marriage vows) within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know Yahuah,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares Yahuah, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” (see Zachariah 3)

NOTE: “iniquity” is breaking the Law of Yahuah. That is what “iniquity” or “lawless” means in Matthew 7:23. The word in that verse is the Greek word anomía:

Entry for Strong's #458 - ἀνομία

iniquity

Zechariah 3 - Clean Garments for the High Priest, Yahusha anointed High Priest of Israel after his Mikveh by John…
1 Then he showed me Yahusha the high priest standing before the angel of YAHUAH, and Satan standing at his right side to accuse him. 2 YAHUAH (
through His proxy The Angel before whom stood Yahusha and Satan) said to Satan, “Yahuah rebuke you, Satan! Yahuah, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man (Yahusha was a man not a god) a burning stick snatched from the fire?”

3 Now Yahusha was dressed in filthy clothes (metaphor of sin) as he stood before the angel. 4 The angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes.” Then Yahuah said to Yahusha, “See (after taking off his filthy rags), I have taken away (through Mikveh by John see my book Melchizedek and The Passover Lamb) your sin (fifthly rags Isaiah 64:6), and I will put fine garments (of the High Priest) on you.”

5 Then I said, “Put a clean turban (of the High Priest) on his (Yahusha’s) head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him (in the garments of the High Priest), while the angel of Yahuah stood by. 6 The angel of Yahuah gave this charge to Yahusha: 7 “This is what Yahuah the Almighty (God) says (again Yahuah speaking through His proxy Angel): ‘If (here Yahuah makes a conditional promise to Yahusha) you will walk in obedience to me and keep my requirements (the Torah), then (here is the promise if he keeps the Torah and obeys the Will of Yahuah) you will govern my house (i.e. King over creation) and have charge of my courts (Eternal Judge), and I will give you a place (at the right hand of Yahuah) among these standing here.

8 “‘Listen, High Priest Yahusha, you and your associates seated (who came) before you (probably Adam, Enoch, Moses, Elijah, etc.), who (those seated before him) are men symbolic of things to come: I am going to bring (you) my servant (from this point forward), the Branch (he is the Messiah).

9 See, the stone I have set in front of Yahusha! There are seven eyes on that one stone, and I will engrave an inscription on it,’ says Yahuah Almighty, ‘and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day (the day Yahusha, in obedience, died as Passover Lamb).

Hebrews 10
The Law is only a (physical) shadow of the good things that are coming (in the spirit when the Law is written on our hearts)—not the realities themselves (but they teach us of spiritual truths we cannot otherwise understand i.e. physical to spiritual parallels).

All the “old commands” plus 1

Let’s read from the book of 1 John as The Yahushaic Covenant is summed up as the Law and The Prophets plus 1 new command. 1 John goes on to clearly teach that the “old” commandments are to be kept; and only 1 to be added. This is "The New Covenant" in a nutshell so to speak. The Yahushaic Covenant is all the old "Terms and Conditions" of all other covenants with the blood of Yahusha replacing the Certificate of Debt which are the decrees in the Law that demand our death for disobedience to the Law:

1 John 2
3 We know that we have come to know Yahuah if we keep His commands. 4 Whoever says, “I know Yahuah,” but does not do what Yahuah commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. 5 But if anyone obeys Yahuah’s word, the love for God is truly made complete in them (they will be MADE perfect and embody the fullness of deity). This is how we know we are in The Yahushaic Covenant: 6 Whoever claims to live in covenant with Yahusha must live as Yahusha did (keeping the Law of Yahuah in loving obedience and walking The Way of Mikveh, Circumcision, and Offering)

7 Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning (the Torah and Prophets… Scripture). This old command is the message you have heard (the Hebrew Scriptures). 8 Yet I am writing you a new command; its (Spirit of) truth is seen in Yahusha and in you, because the darkness (of the Law with active decrees) is passing and the true light (of the Law with the decrees covered which is the definition of Grace) is already shining.

1 John 1
5 This is the message (all old commands i.e. the Torah plus 1 new command) which we have heard from Yahusha and I declare to you, that Yahuah is light (revealed through His Commandments which are a light unto our path) and in  (covenant with) Yahuah is no darkness (sin or transgressing His Commandments) at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Yahuah, and walk in darkness (transgress His commandments), we lie and do not practice the truth (keep the Torah). 7 But if we walk in the light (the Torah) as Yahuah is in the light (the Torah defines His righteousness), we have fellowship with one another (so keep all the old commandments), and (here is the 1 new command again…) the blood of Yahuah’s son Yahusha the Messiah cleanses us from all sin (as we express our faith in Passover and the blood covers the death decrees in the Law, and Yahuah forgives our iniquity and remembers our sin no more by walking The Way of Mikveh, Circumcision, and Offering).

What 1 John above is describing is that the Law of Sin and Death has been defeated by Yahusha and the only new command is to put your faith in Yahusha and keep Passover in light of his sacrifice… that was Yahusha’s only command and the last thing he said before he died. Sha’ul too received this 1 new command that makes whole the Law transforming the Law of Sin and Death into the Law of the Spirit of Life:

1 Corinthians 11
23 For I received (1 new command) from the King what I also delivered to you, (now Sha’ul tells us exactly what that 1 new command is…) that the King Yahusha on the night (of Passover) when he was betrayed took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This (Passover dinner) is my body which is (sacrificed) for you (to cover the death decrees in the law). Do this (Keep Passover and walk The Way through The Narrow Gate) in remembrance of me (as I gave you an example that you should follow John 13:15).” 25 In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This (Passover) cup is the new covenant in my blood (The New Covenant is that Yahusha fulfilled the requirements of the Passover Lamb making whole the Law). Do this (keep Passover), as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me (my example).” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup (on Passover), you proclaim (your faith in) the King’s death (to cover the death decrees and defeat death) until he comes.

The New Covenant is “new” only in the sense that the Law has been transposed from written in stone to written on our hearts and Yahusha has fulfilled the Passover promise. The primary focus is that Yahusha fulfilled the physical shadow of Passover and defeated the Law of Sin and Death removing our “enmity” toward the Law because we feared death. The only weakness in the Law was our sinful flesh. That weakness was made whole by covering the death decrees. the Law then was transformed to the Law of the Spirit that leads to Life.

The Law of Sin and Death has been Defeated

The main theme of The Yahushaic Covenant is that Yahusha defeated the ‘Law of Sin and Death’ by fulfilling the requirements of the Passover Lamb. Now those in covenant with him live in freedom (from the threat of death) in what is called the ‘Law of the Spirit of Life’. Before we go any further, first let me define terms:

The Law of Yahuah – An all-encompassing term for the commands/law, ordinances, and decrees of Yahuah. So when we say “the Law” we are referring to all 3 aspects combined:

Deut. 5
30 "Go, tell them to return to their tents. 31 But you stay here with me so that I may give you all the commands, decrees and ordinances you are to teach them to follow in the land I am giving them to possess."

As we read above the Law contains commands, decrees, and ordinances, so let me quickly define each one:

Commands also called laws. Simply speaking these are the 10 commandments, the dietary Laws, the judicial laws, the Laws of ritual purity, the sacrificial laws, and so forth.

Ordinances – these are the ordained times such as The Sabbath, and the ordained festivals (spring and fall feasts).

Decrees – these are the divine judgments or judicial decrees within the Law that levy judgment against us for violating the commands and ordinances within the Law. Only the decrees were “nailed to the stake” as our transgressions were forgiven by Yahuah and covered by the blood of the lamb Yahusha as agreed upon in Zachariah Chapter 3.

So together the commands, decrees, and ordinances make up what we call ‘the Law’. The Law first existed in what the Apostle Sha’ul refers to as ‘the Law of Sin and Death’. the Law was then transposed by Yahusha into ‘the Law of the Spirit of Life’ as his blood covered the death decrees (our sin). Let me explain and clearly define these terms used by the Apostle Sha’ul…

The Law of Sin and Death – is the Law of Yahuah with active death decrees for disobedience as it existed in written form passed down from Adam through Moses. The first (and every subsequent “law”) came with a corresponding judicial decree for breaking that law. The first Law was given in Eden with “you shall not eat of the apple” (law) and then the decree “or you shall surely die”. That is where the Law of sin and you die was first introduced. Over time as new laws were added so were new judicial decrees for each new law Yahuah revealed as He progressively disclosed the ‘constitution’ of His Kingdom. Since we all have sinned, we were being held captive by the death decrees and in bondage to the fear of death.

The Law of the Spirit of Life – is the Law of Yahuah with the death decrees covered by the blood of the Lamb (this is called Grace). The covering of the death decree which Sha’ul called a ‘certificate of debt’ (we owed with our lives) was a free give that we did not deserve. This is the definition of ‘Grace’. By covering the death decrees and forgiving the ‘certificate of debt’ we owed Yahuah, we are restored to a state of perfect obedience and freeing us from slavery to the fear of the death decrees. Our sin is forgive through Mikveh and the decrees covered by our faith in Yahusha as the Passover Lamb.

In effect the Law has not changed, it was just made whole or ‘complete’ through grace. With the understanding of terms it becomes clear what the Apostle Sha’ul is saying below as he defines “The Doctrine of Righteousness”:

Romans 8
1 Now there is no condemnation (referring to the Death Decrees/Certificate of Debt) for those in The Yahushaic Covenant. 2 For the Law of the Spirit of life in (covenant with) Yahusha the Messiah has made me free from the Law of Sin and Death (the death decrees in the Law are covered and paid in full). 3 For what the Law could not do (bring eternal life as promised) because the Law was made weak by our flesh (because we broke the Law and the decrees in the Law condemned us to death for disobedience), Yahuah did (provided Eternal Life as a free gift to those who try to keep the Law and fail i.e. Grace) by sending His own (firstborn) Son in the likeness of sinful flesh (as a man fully human), on account of sin (to defeat it by living obedient to the Law, becoming perfected, and dying innocent):  Yahusha condemned sin in the flesh (our genetic death sentence), 4 that the righteous requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us (we are brought into total obedience to the Law through The Way of Mikveh, Circumcision, and Offering which is The Doctrine of Righteousness) who do not walk according to the flesh (disobedient to the Law) but according to the Spirit (and are perfected in obedience as the Messiah was through the process of sanctification! The Spirit Sha’ul referring is the spirit of loving obedience to the Law prophesied in Ezekiel).

Ezekiel 36: 26, 27 – Walking according to the new Spirit
I will give you a new heart (for my Law and write my Law on it) and put a new spirit (of loving obedience) in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone (legalistic observance of the Law out of fear of death) and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my commands and be careful to keep my laws.

Now back to Romans 8…

5 For those who live according to the flesh (learn unrighteousness) set their minds on the things of the flesh (and do not submit to sanctification), but those who live according to the Spirit (of loving obedience to the Law through sanctification), the things of the Spirit (the Law is Spiritual Romans 7:14). 6 For to be carnally minded is death (you’ll be judged by the decrees in the Law), but to be spiritually minded is life and peace (because in loving obedience to the Law the decrees against you are covered by the blood of the lamb resulting in peace and a spirit of comfort). 7 Because the carnal mind is hatred against Yahuah; for it is not subject to the Law of Yahuah, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please Yahuah (because they hate the Law of Yahuah and abolished it in their hearts).

Romans 7:14
13Therefore did that which is good (the Law) become a cause of death for me? May it never be! Rather it was sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin by effecting my death (through the death decrees) through that which is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful. 14 For we know that the Law is spiritual, but I am of flesh, sold into bondage to sin.

Romans 2:13
For it is not those who hear the Law who are righteous in Yahuah’s sight, but it is those who obey the Law who will be declared righteous.

This spirit Sha’ul is referring to is the comforter that Yahusha and Ezekiel prophesied would come upon us. We have a spirit of comfort now that the death decrees are covered we no long live in bondage to the fear of sin and death. Yahusha has showed us The Way a sinful human being can be perfected in Righteous obedience and found innocent of sin. Sha’ul is saying that Yahusha “nailed the death decrees that demand our death” in the Law to the stake covering them with the blood of the Lamb. Now that Yahusha was obedient unto death, the Law of Yahuah has become the Law of the Spirit of Life as Yahusha has removed our enmity (fear of death) toward the Law by walking The Way and fulfilling the promise of a new covenant whereby Yahuah will forgive our iniquity and remember our sin no more by washing us clean with Living Water.

Through Yahusha the Messiah, those in covenant with him are found in perfect obedience to the Law (the righteous requirements are fulfilled in us). This is because Yahuah forgives our transgression and covers the ‘certificate of debt’ against us that justified our physical death. The promise for obedience to the Law is is eternal life so once that certificate of debt is forgiven we defeat death. No in The Yahushaic Covenant the Law has been transposed to the Law of the spirit of loving obedience that leads to eternal life. Sha’ul discusses this in detail below:

Colossians 2
13 When you were dead in your transgressions (held captive to the death decrees) and the uncircumcision of your flesh (lost among the Gentile nations), Yahuah made you alive together with Yahusha, having forgiven us all our transgressions (covered the death decrees), 14 having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and Yahuah has taken the certificate of debt (death decrees in the Law) out of the way, having nailed the certificate of debt (that justifies our physical death) to the stake with Yahusha.

What Sha’ul is saying is that while we were being held captive to the death decrees and lost among the Gentiles, Yahuah made us alive together with Yahusha by canceling out the death decrees in the Law that amounted to a Certificate of Debt that demanded out death. Yahuah as promised in Zachariah Chapter 3 fulfilled His promise to Yahusha to “forgive the sins of the world in one day” and Yahuah has taken the certificate of debt we owed Him out of the way, nailing it to the stake with Yahusha. As a result we now we live in comfort and obey out of love not the fear of death.

What Sha’ul is referring to is the Renewed Covenant that Yahuah made with Yahusha. That detailed agreement is defined in Zachariah Chapter 3 when Yahuah personally consecrated Yahusha as High Priest. Let’s take a look at this agreement and we will see exactly how Yahusha fulfilled his end of the agreement and how Yahuah promised to (as Sha’ul said) cancel out the death decrees and “forgive us of our sin”.

The prophecy in Zachariah Chapter 3 gives us a front row seat to the conversation that happened between Yahuah and Yahusha in the desert after Yahusha was Mikveh’d by John and declared The Passover Lamb. Yahusha then fled into the desert fulfilling the shadow of the scapegoat for 40 days/nights looking for confirmation from his Father. Lying on the desert floor starving, dehydrated, and on the verge of death we know Satan came to Yahusha and tempted him. This is where the vision in Zachariah Chapter 3 picks up. We have Yahusha lying on the desert floor suffering from dehydration and starvation looking like a “stick snatched from the fire of the hot sun” and Satan mad because Yahusha refused his offer. Now let’s listen in to the conversation where Yahuah confirms that Yahusha is the Messiah, and they agree on Yahusha’s role in the Renewed Covenant and Yahuah’s promise if Yahusha is faithful to his end of the agreement:

Zechariah 3 Yahuah’s consecration of Yahusha as High Priest, King of Kings, and Eternal Judge

1 Then he showed me Yahusha the high priest standing before the angel of Yahuah, and Satan standing at his right side to accuse him. 2 Yahuah (through His proxy the messenger before whom stood Yahusha and Satan) said to Satan, “Yahuah rebuke you, Satan! Yahuah, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you (because Satan offered Yahusha to take Jerusalem by force)! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?” (Yahusha was starving and dying in the hot sun of the desert)

3 Now Yahusha was dressed in filthy clothes (metaphor of sin Isaiah 64:6) as he stood before the messenger of Yahuah. 4 The messenger said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes.” Then Yahuah said to Yahusha, “See (after taking off his filthy rags i.e. sin Isaiah 64:6), I have taken away your sin, and I will put fine garments (of the High Priest) on you.”

5 Then I (Yahuah) said (through the messenger), “Put a clean turban (of the High Priest) on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him (in the garments of the High Priest), while the messenger of Yahuah stood by. 6 The messenger of Yahuah gave this charge to Yahusha: 7 “This is what Yahuah Almighty says: ‘If (Yahuah makes a conditional promise) you will walk in obedience to me and keep my requirements (the Law and role of the Branch), then (here is the promise if he keeps The Torah and obeys the Will of Yahuah as the Branch) you will govern my house (i.e. King over creation) and have charge of my courts (Eternal Judge), and I will give you a place (right hand of Yahuah) among these standing here.

8 “‘Listen, High Priest Yahusha, you and your associates seated (who came) before you (probably Adam, Enoch, Moses, Elijah, etc.), who (those seated before him) are men symbolic of things to come (they were all shadows of The Messiah, but were not the Branch): I am going to bring (you) my servant (from this point forward), the Branch (he is The Messiah).

9 See, the stone I have set in front of Yahusha! There are seven eyes on that one stone, and I will engrave an inscription on it,’ says Yahuah Almighty, ‘and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day (the day Yahusha, in obedience, dies as Passover Lamb).

We see above in Zachariah Chapter 3 exactly what Yahusha’s role was in the Renewed Covenant. He was the Messiah (the Branch) and had to from that point forward (after Mikveh as High Priest) walk in complete obedience to the Law and set the righteous example that we are to follow. And if he would do that, Yahuah promised to cover the death decrees in the Law that is called Grace.

This is what the Apostle Sha’ul was telling us in Hebrews:

Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one (a High Priest) who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet he did not sin (as High Priest in context).

And what Sha’ul was referring to in Col. 2 where Yahuah cancelled out the certificate of debt we all owed when Yahusha obeyed the calling of The Messiah and died as Passover Lamb. Yahusha offered the final sacrifice as a High Priest without sin because Yahusha was cleansed of his sin when he was Mikveh’d as we saw in Zachariah Chapter 3 verse 4.

How Did Yahusha Defeat Death?

This is the real question we are seeking to answer. We are taught in Christianity that “Jesus paid the price for us, he bore our sin, he kept the Law so we don’t have to keep it, he died so we can live”. Just like that, just utter the name “Jesus” and you are in the clear, no need to do anything else, you can be lawless and sin all you like and Grace will cover you. This is simply not true. What Yahusha did was he was obedient to his role as Messiah and show us the way by example that we must follow ourselves. Yahusha “bore our sin” in fulfillment of the scapegoat he didn’t “die for our sin” and he didn’t do it all for us, WE have to follow in his example if we too are to defeat death like he did. We must follow his example of Mikveh (ritual cleansing of sin), circumcision (of heart our commitment to keep His Law), and bringing an offering of our lives to the altar.

John 14:6
Yahusha answered, "I am (his example is) the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (in covenant with him by following his example).

John 10:3-4
For I have given you an example (a true way that leads to eternal life), that you should do as I have done.

1 Peter 2:21
21 But if you suffer for doing good (obey the Law) and you endure it (you will be conformed to the image of Yahusha, Romans 8:29 and 2 Corinthians 3:18, who was perfected through suffering), this is commendable before Yahuah. 21 To this (to be conformed to the image of His son) you were called, because the Messiah suffered (on Passover) for you (and tore the veil giving you access to the Altar of Yahuah), leaving you an example (of what to do as he fulfilled the spiritual meaning of Passover), that you should follow in his steps (being Mikveh’d, demonstrating a circumcised heart, and bring your own offering on Passover to the Altar of Yahuah).

Yahusha did not do it all for us, he obeyed Yahuah and set the righteous example for us to follow. In doing so, Yahuah promised to forgive our sin and cover the death decree against us as Sha’ul said. The death decree that Yahuah covers is called ‘The Second Death’ or rather the final spiritual death decree. He does not cover the first physical death decree. The spiritual death decree or second death is ‘passed over’ for all who follow Yahusha’s example and put their faith in and properly celebrate Passover. Yahuah does not issue the final death decree and we then defeat death and live again. So we all, like Yahusha, must physically die and pay the price of sin as we inherited death in our bodies. It is Spiritual Death that we do not suffer because after we die because we, like Yahusha, defeat death and are raised to eternal life by Yahuah. Let me explain.

I said that Yahusha did not pay our penalty of sin in our body and he did not cover the first death decree… you still are going to die. Every physical body must die a natural death or translation/transposition which is just another form of physical death. We know that Yahuah's own laws prevent anyone (including Yahusha) from being judged for another man’s sin. Each man is judged for his sin alone:

Deuteronomy 24:16
"The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin."

We all are going to pay for our sin through physical death just like Yahusha did. Yahuah would never violate His own law and put Yahusha to death for our sin! Yahusha died as all men do, he was not born into sin. In fact per Zachariah Chapter 3 Yahusha had his sin forgiven through Mikveh just like we do. The entire doctrine of “Original Sin” is a false doctrine. What the Bible teaches is that through one MAN’S act of disobedience to the Law of Yahuah (Adam) “sin” was brought into the world (not our body) and as a result of Adam's sin his body began to die. From that point forward, DEATH was passed to all men genetically and sin was in the world.

Romans 5:12
"Wherefore, as by one man… sin entered into the world, and death by sin (so death comes by you own sin not genetically); and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned (so our own sin justifies our own physical death which is genetic)"

The Bible says that death, not sin, is passed on in the body we are not born into “original sin” we are born into a body that is predisposed to sin a condition called “in the flesh”. Sin was brought into the world (not our body) through one act of disobedience. Death however is passed to all men genetically as we are all born to die. In this way the "law" of sin and you die by decree called the Law of Sin and Death reigned over humanity and we lived in bondage to the fear of death.

It is this threat of death that held us captive not the Law of Yahuah:

Hebrews 2:14-15
14 so that by his death he, Yahusha, might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil — 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death (not in slavery to the Law as Christianity teaches)

We are all born to die and predisposed to "sin" in our flesh through temptation and that weakened the Law’s ability to deliver eternal life as promised. As we read before the Law was weakened by our flesh, it is we who are not perfect! We were the weak link in the Law and our weaknesses made the Law incomplete and prevented the Law from delivering eternal life as promised.

The Law had to be made complete through grace (by covering the death decrees) for the Law to achieve its righteous outcome which is eternal life.

Proverbs 3
1My son, do not forget my Torah, But let your heart keep my commandments; 2 For length of days and years of life And peace they will add to you.

Deuteronomy 11
20"You shall write them (the Torah) on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, 21 so that your days and the days of your sons may be multiplied on the land which Yahuah swore to your fathers to give them, as long as the heavens remain above the earth.

It is in this way Yahusha “fulfilled” the Law; he bridged the gap of our own weaknesses by covering the death decrees. Now, in covenant with Yahusha the Law is complete and delivers eternal life for obedience as promised. However, this fleshly body predisposed to sin and designed genetically to die must pay the price for our sin. The penalty of sin is death which is in our genetic structure because of Adam. So the sentence of "physical death" is justified because we all individually fall for the temptation of sin in this world. This cycle of “being born to die and dying guilty of sin to justify that death” had to be broken by a man just as it began with a man. If Yahusha was a demi-god the entire concept of overturning Adam’s act would have no value.

In order to defeat death, a man whose body was genetically engineered to “die” which was justified because “all have sinned” had to die innocent in the eyes of Yahuah. Death then cannot hold an innocent man because death is the penalty of sin and Yahuah has to issue the final death decree for them to stay dead (the Second Death). So Yahuah predestined a human Messiah to come and live and serve as High Priest in complete obedience to His Law after he was mikveh’d and his sin taken away. That is how Yahusha defeated death… Yahusha accomplished his role defined in Zachariah Chapter 3… then so did Yahuah and death was defeated.

Hebrews 5:8-9
8 though Yahusha was a Son, yet he learned obedience (to Yahuah) by the things which he suffered. 9 And having been perfected (by Yahuah through obedience and suffering throughout his life and ultimately on Passover), Yahusha became the author of eternal salvation (forefather of everlasting life) to all who obey Yahuah (and follow Yahusha’s example).

In other words, Yahusha’s life of being perfected by the Law of Yahuah became the true way to eternal life by example. His way is the true way that leads to eternal life. The Truth, the way, and the life. Yahusha had to submit to the process of sanctification (being perfected in obedience through suffering discipline).

John 17:19-21
“And for their sakes I sanctify myself (Yahusha had to be perfected through sanctification, he is The Way we all follow), that they also might be sanctified through the truth (by following his example which is the True Way that leads to life). Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word (enter into covenant with him as the Bride); That they all may be one (family); as thou, Father, art in (covenant with) me (to be adopted then begotten as Your first born-again son), and I in (covenant with) thee (crying out Abba Father), that they also may be one in (covenant with) us (and adopted then begotten too): that the world may believe that thou hast sent me (to prove The Way works where Yahuah perfects our sinful flesh and forgives our iniquity and remembers our sin no more).”

We are being made perfect by the example Yahusha set with his LIFE not just his death. He gave his life as a living sacrifice or “example” we all follow to perfection through sanctification.

Hebrews 10:14
14 because by a single offering (of his life as a living sacrifice or example) He has made perfect (just like he was “made perfect” Hebrews 5:8-9_ for all time those who are sanctified (by following his example).

The Messiah Yahusha was that man to break the ‘Law of Sin and Death’ and then die innocent and defeat death in the process. Through the Messiah, one act of obedience of one man (not God) resulted in salvation from death, again we see that DEATH not "sin" came through Adam genetically... and by "man" not "God" came the resurrection of the dead:

1 Corinthians 15
20 But now the Messiah is risen from the dead (by Yahuah), and has become the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep (first born son of the resurrection). 21 For since by man (Adam) came death, by Man (not God) also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in (one human) Adam all die, even so in (one human), the Messiah, all (the sons of Yahuah) shall be made alive (begotten by Yahuah as sons through resurrection).

The Law of the Spirit of Life i.e. a man living in complete obedience to the Law, having his sin forgiven through Mikveh, demonstrating a contrite spirit and circumcised heart, and giving his life up to serve Yahuah; and has received the promise of eternal life.

Yahusha, the man, became the example for all the sons of Yahuah and he is called the "forefather of everlasting life" and made righteous in the eyes of Yahuah. Now, to all of us who follow in his footsteps in obedience to Yahuah, we too are declared righteous. Not by faith alone, but by a process of obedience to the Law, suffering through faith, and expressing our faith by keeping Passover in light of Yahusha’s sacrifice. In doing so, Yahusha’s “blood” or sin offering is accepted by Yahuah to cover the second death decrees on our behalf and we too are found innocent after we die… and we too will defeat death through resurrection:

James 2:16-26
16 Faith and Deeds (works of the Law). Faith alone does not save, nor does deeds alone. You must have both. …17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. 18 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. 19 You believe that there is one God (The Shema). Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. … 24 You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone…26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works of the Law is dead.

Yahusha being fully human denied the fleshly desire to "sin" after his Mikveh in the office of High Priest and obeyed Yahuah even to the point of willingly going to his own death (which was not Yahusha's own will). It is the ultimate demonstration that Yahusha set aside his selfish will to live, and obeyed Yahuah's will that he die. This was Yahuah’s plan from the beginning to literally perfected a human being (Yahusha) through suffering and making Yahusha our "pioneer of our salvation" our "forefather of everlasting life" our ultimate example… all meaning the same thing. Yahuah orchestrated our salvation through His human Messiah which was His Plan from the beginning written in the stars, prophesied in Genesis where the seed of a woman would crush the head of the serpent, and foretold through all his prophets, His Ordained Times, and countless shadow pictures such as Joseph, David, Joshua, Sampson, and so forth. That plan of Yahuah’s was fulfilled in Yahusha:

Hebrews 2
14 Since the children have flesh and blood (and are held captive to the Law of Sin and Death), he too shared in their humanity (he was human too and captive to genetic death) so that by his death (the death of a human not God) he, Yahusha, might break the power of him who holds the power of death (by being perfected through sanctification) —that is, the devil— 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death (because Yahuah fulfilled His promise to forgive our iniquity and remember our sin no more in the Messiah and he defeated death). 16 For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham’s descendants. 17 For this reason (to break the Law of Sin and Death) he (Yahusha) had to be made like them fully human in every way (his flesh had to be “sinful”), in order that he might become (a sin offering) a merciful and faithful high priest (who are chosen from among men) in service to Yahuah.

Sha’ul is teaching above the exact same message I am trying to convey. Since the children of Yahuah are first born flesh and blood, the Messiah had to be born flesh and blood to atone for them and break the power of death. Nowhere in Scripture does it say it takes ‘God’ to die to save us. Nowhere in Scripture did Yahuah promise to come to Earth and die; that is impossible. For this reason, the Messiah HAD TO BE HUMAN not God or a demigod. He could not have been Yahuah in the flesh. He had to be and was human.... fully human in every way so says verse 17 above and he HAD to have sinned! Yahuah had to fulfill His promise to forgive our iniquity and remember our sin no more and deliver eternal life. Because if he wasn’t he could not undue what was done by Adam who was human. Yahusha is the “second chance Adam”. A man brought sin and death into the world... it would take a man to take them out of the world by submitting to sanctification and being perfected in this life then dying innocent in the eyes of Yahuah.

Now, having proven himself as a human that could obey and withstand the temptation of his flesh... Yahusha was chosen by Yahuah from among all mankind as High Priest to serve Him for eternity. Yahusha HAD to die not only for us but for himself. He too was in a human body predisposed to death genetically and that body had to be put to death for Yahusha to enter the Kingdom of Yahuah. He had to make that sacrifice as the human High Priest. Let’s look at Hebrews 5 in more detail to show that Yahusha had to make the Passover Sacrifice for himself as well. We see that Yahusha as High Priest is chosen from among men in vs. 3 "he is obligated to offer sacrifices for sins, as for the people, so also for himself".

I get asked all the time "how could a man do all the work of salvation? It HAD TO BE GOD" I am told. Not only is that untrue because it is impossible for Yahuah to die or be tempted by evil in the process, but it is also clearly stated that the Messiah had to be a human and the sacrifice of death for humanity had to come at the hands of a human high priest for the people and for himself. He had to overturn what Adam brought into this world. A man brought sin into this world, and a man had to take it out.

Hebrews 5
1 For every high priest (Yahusha was the High Priest of Israel by bloodline of Zadok, consecrated High Priest by Yahuah Zachariah Chapter 3) taken from among men is appointed on behalf of men in things pertaining to Yahuah, in order to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins; 2 he can deal gently with the ignorant and misguided, since he himself also is beset with weakness; 3 and because of it he is obligated to offer sacrifices for sins, as for the people, so also for himself. 4 And no one takes the honor to himself, but receives it when he is called by Yahuah, even as Aaron was. 5 So also Yahusha did not glorify himself so as to become a high priest, but Yahuah who said to Yahusha "YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU"; 6 just as Yahuah says also in another passage, "YOU ARE A PRIEST FOREVER ACCORDING TO THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK.” 7 In the days of Yahusha’s flesh (when he was fully human in every way), Yahusha offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One (God, Yahuah, The Shema) able to save Yahusha from death (Yahusha did not rise from the dead, he was risen by Yahuah), and Yahusha was heard because of Yahusha’s piety (reverent obedience to the Law see Zachariah Chapter 3). 8 Although Yahusha was a Son, Yahusha learned obedience (to the ONE GOD) from the things which he suffered. 9 And having been made perfect (Yahusha was not born perfect being simply a man), Yahusha became (he was not always, he BECAME after his submission and death on Passover) to all those who obey Yahuah and follow Yahusha’s example, the source of eternal salvation (his example is our source), 10 being designated by Yahuah as a high priest (from among men verse 1) according to the order of Melchizedek (see my book Melchizedek and The Passover Lamb). 11 Concerning Yahusha we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. (that is a true statement especially today)

So what Sha’ul is saying above is that it took a human high priest to offer the final sacrifice for himself and for all those in covenant with him. As we read in Zachariah Chapter 3 Yahusha fulfilled his responsibility to show the way by example and be obedient to his role as the Branch. As a result Yahuah too fulfilled His promise in Zachariah Chapter 3 and “forgave the sin of the land in one day”. When Yahusha said “it is finished” Yahuah covered the second death decree and released all those being held in bondage to death. We see in the Gospel account that the graves gave up their dead at that moment. What we don’t realize is that we all followed Yahusha that day in the resurrection just like he told the thief on the stake next to him.

You see, the resurrection is an event that occurs outside of the boundaries of time in the realm of the Spirit and we witnessed the first resurrection of the dead on that day. When Yahusha said it is finished and Yahuah covered the second death decree (which was holding us in bondage to death) and death was defeated. I go further into the resurrection later in this book and explore the concept of time.

The High Priest in Israel at the time even knew this concept, which is WHY they sacrificed Yahusha. Caiaphas when confronted with the issue of Yahusha realized it was "better for one innocent man to die, then for the entire nation of Israel to perish". Caiaphas considers, with "the Chief Priests and Pharisees", what to do about Yahusha, whose influence was spreading. They worry that if they "let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and the Romans will come and destroy both our holy place and our nation." Caiaphas makes a political calculation, suggesting that it would be better for "one man to die than for the whole nation to be destroyed". What Caiaphas didn't realize is that he was exactly right but didn't understand what he was saying. Yahusha, however, did understand exactly what was required. One innocent man had to die, so that the children of Israel would not perish. By dying innocent Yahusha could save the eternal lives of the sons of Yahuah called “Remnant Israel” for all those who would obey his example.

Now, DEATH still reigned in Yahusha's genetic body (made evident by the fact he died) because he was human, however that sentence was not justified in Yahusha because he had not sinned as High Priest. So, death could not hold Yahusha... he was innocent of sin therefore did not deserve the fleshly penalty of death in his body. By breaking the cycle of "sin and you die" Yahusha literally defeated death. He broke the cycle of the Law of sin and you die by decree, and purchased the salvation for the children of Israel by becoming the Passover Lamb whose blood covers the death decrees in the Law. So Caiaphas got it right, even though he didn't realize it. He was being used by Yahuah to bring about The Plan of Salvation and it came out of Caiaphas’s mouth.

How does this apply to you and me?

Yahusha was destined by Yahuah to be the Passover Sacrifice for our sin IF we enter into The Yahushaic Covenant and keep Passover in remembrance of Yahusha’s sacrifice. So our having faith in Yahusha as that Passover sacrifice and having faith in the Promise of Yahuah to accept it... we are washed white as snow in the eyes of Yahuah by the blood of the Passover Lamb. Our faith is demonstrated by our works in obedience to His Laws which overturn Adam's disobedience.

We, like Yahusha, put aside our own will in favor of Yahuah's. Having put our faith in the cleansing blood of Yahusha (by keeping Passover in light of Yahusha) and believing that Yahuah accepts his sacrifice on our behalf, we then die innocent as well; because the condition of "guilt vs. innocence" is not based on our works but on the Righteousness of Yahuah. If Yahuah finds us innocent in the blood of Yahusha, WE ARE INNOCENT of sin when we die regardless of what we have done. The evidence that we have "faith" is that we obey His Laws and specifically keep Passover.

1 Corinthians 5:8
Therefore let us keep the Festival (of Passover and Unleavened Bread), not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

1 Corinthians 11
23 For I received from the King that which I also delivered to you: that the King Yahusha on the same night in which He was betrayed (on Passover) took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is (Passover meal) My body (transposition of Passover, physical to spiritual parallel) which is broken for you; do this (keep Passover) in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same manner He also took the (Passover) cup after supper, saying, “This (Passover) cup is the new covenant in My blood (physical to spiritual parallel). This do, as often (yearly on Passover) as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” 26 For as often (yearly on Passover) as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the King’s death till He comes.

The Book of Life

So what we have been discussing is that death cannot hold an innocent man. So, like Yahusha, death will be defeated by each of the sons of Yahuah; those who have faith in Yahusha and demonstrate love for Yahuah in obedience to Him will be found innocent and our names written in The Book of Life! The final death decree that justifies the death of our bodies will NOT be issued by Yahuah and we will live again eternally through resurrection.

But what exactly is The Book of Life? It is a record kept by Yahuah in “heaven” with the names of His sons written down in it. Only those names on that list are given Eternal Life.

Revelation 13:8
And all who dwell on earth will worship the beast (I.H.S. Jesus H. Christ the Pig of Ishtar), everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the (Passover) Lamb (Yahusha) who was slain.

Revelation 3:5
The one who conquers (the beast and does not worship Jesus Christ) will be clothed thus in white garments (be found righteous in the eyes of the Law), and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels. (this gives me chills every time I read it. Having Yahusha stand up before Yahuah and personally introduce me to my God… I just can’t imagine the magnificence of that moment, I feel so completely unworthy of such an honor)

Revelation 20:12
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead (not found written in that book) were judged by what was written in the books (of the Law), according to what they had done.

Revelation 20:15
And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:27
But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Psalm 69:28
Let them be blotted out of the book of the living; let them not be enrolled among the righteous.

Revelation 17:8
The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to rise from the bottomless pit and go to destruction. And the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast, because it was and is not and is to come.

Luke 10:20
Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.

We see below in Malachi that only those who “fear Yahuah” i.e. keep His Law and know His name are written in The Book of Life.

Malachi 3:16
Then those who feared Yahuah spoke with one another. Yahuah paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared Yahuah and esteemed his name.

Signed, Sealed, and Delivered

By keeping His Law, you will obey The Sabbath and therefore display the Sign. You will “esteem His name Yahuah” thereby Sealing your mind with The Shema. You will keep Passover in light of the sacrifice of the Messiah thereby expressing your faith in the blood of the Passover Lamb you will be delivered from the second death. You will be “signed/sealed/delivered” into the Kingdom of Yahuah as your name will be found in The Book of Life.

Evidence of Salvation

The Bible provides the criteria one must meet if they desire salvation. In this section I will clearly define the evidence that you can count on to prove you are saved. In Christianity we are taught that all that is required is just simply uttering the name “Jesus”. We know that isn’t true as Yahusha demonstrated that many who put their faith in that false messiah are mistaken:

Matthew 7:22-23
22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘King, King, did we not prophesy in Jesus name, and in Jesus name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23 Then Yahusha will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you (you believed in Jesus Christ the false messiah and abolished the Law of Yahuah). Away from me, you who abolished the Law of Yahuah!'

In Christianity we are taught that all that is required is “asking Jesus Christ into our hearts”. As I pointed out in my last book the Kingdom of Yahuah that is a death sentence. Pouring the blood of the Easter Pig over the Altar of your heart will destroy your body Temple. That is committing the Abomination of Desolation in the spirit. I cover the Abomination of Desolation in great detail in my book The Antichrist Revealed!.

Christians point to the following “sound bite” and take it totally out of context to justify that “all they need to do is ask Jesus into their heart and confess Jesus’ name”:

John 1
12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of Yahuah, to those who believe in His name:

We are once again confronted with a Christian “sound bite” as they take this verse totally out of context of the rest of Scripture. In this section we are going to put this verse back into the context it was written and present sound doctrine.

Those deceived by Christianity are spiritually lazy. They don’t have a heart for the Law of Yahuah. They desire a religion where all that is required is as little as possible. The easier and the more fun and exciting a motivational speaker (we call them preachers or pastors) can make this false religion the more money he can make passing the plate.

The people have surrounded themselves with false teachers who tickle their ears and tell them what they want to hear and they are willing to pay for that pleasurable experience:

2 Timothy 4:3
3 For the time is coming when people will not have patience for sound teaching, but will cater to their passions and gather around themselves teachers who say whatever their ears itch to hear (sound bite implied doctrines).

Make no mistake… there is no milk here in this book series! What I teach is solid meat and I have no desire to tickle ears, I tell the truth. I don’t take money for my service which frees me from serving the interests of anyone. I am a free man and freely I give what I have received freely from Yahuah. The old saying “truth hurts” is very true. You will know real truth when you hear it as it is sharper than a two edged sword and will divide your very being! Truth is far from comfortable and most people would rather shoot the messenger than listen to the truth (that is why Yahusha and all the Prophets met an untimely death). That is why selling the lies of Christianity is so lucrative. You don’t have to do anything at all… just sit there with the warm fuzzy feeling you get in your pew as your ears are tickled and say “thank you Jesus” as you are lead to your own destruction.

‘In Christ’, ‘believe in his name’, and ‘abide in him’

Whenever the term “in Christ”, “believe in his name”, or “abide in him” appears in your uninspired modern English Bibles we must have “eyes to see” and understand what that phrase literally is saying. To be, receive, dwell, remain, abound, die with, identify with, or however it is translated means: ‘to be in covenant with Yahuah through The Yahushaic Covenant’. “Believe in his name” means to put your faith in the covenant that bears his name… The Yahushaic Covenant.

Entering into covenant with Yahuah through The Yahushaic Covenant is the entire message of the New Testament. The end result of The Yahushaic Covenant is entrance into the Kingdom of Yahuah. The Great Commission of The Yahushaic Covenant is to

Proclaim The Yahushaic Covenant because through that covenant the Kingdom of Yahuah is within our reach”.

With that simple understanding let me develop the evidence of our salvation beginning with the same verse in 1 John that Christians fall back on as they have missed the entire point of scripture. They quote a “sound bite” and have no patience for “sound doctrine” as 2 Timothy 4:3 explained.

Below is the true translation of all of John Chapter 1 in context of the Bible’s revelation in general:

John 1:1-18
1 In the beginning was the plan of Yahuah, and the plan was with Yahuah (and defined His purpose in creation), and the plan was Yahuah's. 2 The same plan was in the beginning with Yahuah. 3 All things were done according to the plan of Yahuah, and without the plan of Yahuah nothing was done, that was done. 4 In this plan was (predestined) life (through a human Messiah’s sacrifice), and that life was the light (revelation) to mankind. 5 Now that light (revealed plan to send a human Messiah has been fulfilled in Yahusha) shines in the darkness, but the darkness does not take hold of it. 6 There was a man sent from Yahuah whose name was John (Yahusha wasn’t the only one sent by Yahuah to earth and John was born a miraculous birth too). 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light (that Yahusha was The Passover Lamb of Yahuah), so that through John all might believe in Yahusha (very interesting statement). 8 He himself was not the light (the Messiah, many believed John the Baptist was the Messiah); he came only as a witness to (Yahusha) the light.

9 The true light (Yahusha) that gives light (reveals The WAY) to everyone was coming into the world (as a man). 10 He (Yahusha) was in the world, and though the world was reconciled to Yahuah through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 Yahusha came to that which was his own (the Jews), but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him (enter into The Yahushaic Covenant), to those who believed in (the covenant that bears) his name (The Yahushaic Covenant), he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but begotten of Yahuah (through resurrection).

14 The predestined plan of Yahuah (to send a human Messiah) became flesh (was born human and that plan was fulfilled) and made his dwelling among us (was fully human in every way Hebrews 2:17). We have seen Yahuah’s glory (fulfilled in Yahusha), the glory of the one and only (begotten) Son (until the first resurrection), who came from the (predestined mind or Plan of the) Father, full of grace (covered the death decrees for our sin) and truth (properly teaching the Torah as Moses prophesied of him).

15 (John the Baptist testified concerning him. He cried out, saying, “This is the one I spoke about when I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me (in the Plan of Yahuah and given pre-eminence among the sons of Yahuah Colossians 1:17)’”) 16 Out of his fullness (of obedience to the Law) we have all received grace (his blood covers the death decrees in the Law) in place of grace already given. 17 For the Law (with active decrees or the Law of Sin and Death) was given through Moses; grace (the decrees covered by the blood of the lamb) and truth (the Law of the Spirit that leads to life) came through Yahusha the Messiah. 18 No one has ever seen God (including Yahusha) but (however) the one and only Son (has come as the light to reveal Yahuah to mankind), who is himself (the perfect human image of) Yahuah (Colossians 1:15 – “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation) and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made Yahuah’s plan (to procreate a family) known to us.

That is in context of what John was saying in John Chapter 1. So those who enter into The Yahushaic Covenant and live it (abide in it) will be given the right to be called sons of Yahuah.

I explained earlier in this chapter that The Yahushaic Covenant was the Law of Yahuah plus 1 new command to keep Passover in faith that Yahusha was the Lamb of Yahuah. It is not simply “asking Jesus into your heart and saying his name”. This is confirmed below:

Revelation 12
17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of Yahuah, and have the testimony of the Messiah Yahusha (I’ll explain the testimony of Yahusha that we must have later).

In my book the Kingdom of Yahuah; I fully developed the reality of the Law as the foundation of The Yahushaic Covenant and governing constitution in His kingdom to come. Let us now more fully develop the evidence of our salvation as we “12 receive him (enter into The Yahushaic Covenant), to those who believed in (the covenant that bears) his name (The Yahushaic Covenant)” John 1:12.

We are going to look at the evidence of our salvation and the testimony of Yahusha the Messiah and define clearly what they mean. In the book of 1 John, the evidence of our salvation is laid out in detail.

Evidence of salvation in The Yahushaic Covenant

The Bible from cover to cover is a testimony to Yahuah’s Holy Instructions. “Torah” in Hebrew means Instructions in Righteousness. Keeping the Law is how we will be declared righteous before Yahuah as the Torah is that instruction.

It is in keeping the Law that the process of sanctification is accomplished as we are set apart for Yahuah as a prized possession through our obedience. Sin is breaking the Law and Grace is forgiveness in light of our inability to keep the Law fully. The love of Yahuah is made complete in those who obey the Law.

Those who are zealous for good works of the Law are purified by the Law.

Romans 2:13
For it is not those who hear the Law who are righteous in Yahuah's sight, but it is those who obey the Law who will be declared righteous.

Titus 2:14
who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness (abolishing the Law 1 John 3:4) and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works (of the Law James 2:14-26).

Romans 6:19
I am speaking in simple terms because of the frailty of your human nature. Just as you once offered the parts of your body as slaves to impurity and to greater and greater disobedience (to the Law; the carnal mind is hostile to the Law Romans 8:7), so now, in the same way, you must offer the parts of your body as slaves to righteousness (which is keeping the Law Romans 2:13) that leads to sanctification.

1 John 3:4
Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the Law: for sin is the transgression of the Law.

1 John 2
3 We know that we have come to know Yahuah if we keep His commands. 4 Whoever says, “I know Yahuah,” but does not do what Yahuah commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. 5 But if anyone obeys Yahuah’s word (Matthew 5:17-20), love for Yahuah  is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in The Yahushaic Covenant: 6 Whoever claims to live in covenant with Yahusha must live as Yahusha did (keeping the Law of Yahuah in loving obedience)

Yahusha did not come to abolish the Law of Yahuah but to transpose it to its fullest meaning and spiritual intent. We know Yahusha’s view of those who violate the commandments of Yahuah:

Matthew 7:23
But I will reply, 'I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God's laws.'

Matthew 13:41
The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers,

Matthew 23:28
The same is true of you: outwardly you seem to the human eye to be good and honest men, but, within, you are full of insincerity and disregard of God's Law.

Now let us review 1 John where the evidence of our salvation is laid out in detail. I’ve already covered 1 John 1 in detail. Moving on to 1 John 2 below, we see John enforce the reality of keeping His Law as the evidence you know Yahuah, and that if you say you know Yahuah and don’t keep His Law you are a liar!

1 John 2
1 My little children (speaking to the spiritually immature), these things I write to you, so that you may not break the Law of Yahuah. And if anyone breaks Yahuah’s Law, we have an Advocate with the Father, Yahusha the Messiah the righteous (one in keeping the Law of Yahuah that is Yahusha’s example on Earth). 2 And Yahusha is the propitiation for our sins and not for ours only but also for the whole world (Yahusha is The Passover Lamb).

3 Now by this we know that we know Yahuah, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Yahuah,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps Yahuah’s commandments, truly the love of Yahuah is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in covenant with Yahusha. 6 He who says he abides in covenant with Yahusha ought himself also to walk just as Yahusha walked (in obedience to the Law of Yahuah).

7 Brethren (in the family of Yahuah), I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning (the Commandments of Yahuah). 8 Again, a new commandment I write to you (here is the only new command in The Yahushaic Covenant), which Spirit of loving obedience is true in Yahusha and in you,

Ezekiel 36: 26, 27

I will give you a new heart (for my Law and write my Law on it) and put a new spirit (of loving obedience) in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone (legalistic observance of the Law out of fear of death) and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

Continuing on with 1 John 2…

because the darkness (of the Law with active decrees that demand our death) is passing away, and the true light (Grace i.e. the decrees in the Law are covered by the blood of the lamb) is already shining. (Yahusha defeated the Law of Sin and Death and we now live in freedom through the Law of the Spirit of Life)

24 Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning (the Torah there was no New Testament until 300 years later). If what you heard from the beginning abides in you (you keep the Law of Yahuah), you also will abide in (the example set by) the Son and in the Father.

25 And this is the promise that Yahuah has promised us (for obedience in the Torah)— eternal life.

Deuteronomy 6
2 that you may fear Yahuah your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged (eternal life)

26 These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you (that the Law has been abolished). 27 But the anointing (the spirit of loving obedience to the Law) which you have received from Yahuah abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you (see Jeremiah 31 below); but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and (as we do) just as The Spirit has taught you (to do), you will abide in Him.

Jeremiah 31
33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says Yahuah: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know Yahuah,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says Yahuah. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”

Continuing on with 1 John 2…

28 And now, little children, abide in the example of obedience to the Law of Yahuah set by Yahusha, that when he appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed (of your habitual transgression) before Yahusha at his coming. 29 If you know that Yahuah is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness (which is keeping the Law Romans 8:4, Romans 2:13) is begotten of Yahuah.

Matthew 13:41
The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers,

I am going to stop here. The entire New Testament is testimony to keeping the Law of Yahuah. This was just one small example. The evidence of salvation is simply that you keep the Law of Yahuah and keep Passover in light of Yahusha’s sacrifice thereby expressing faith in The Passover Lamb of God.

That is The Yahushaic Covenant!

Revelation 12
17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of Yahuah, and have the testimony of the Messiah Yahusha (believe that Yahusha is the Passover Lamb).

Malachi 3:16
Then those who feared Yahuah spoke with one another. Yahuah paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared Yahuah (Deuteronomy 6:2 ‘2 that you may fear Yahuah  your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you’) and esteemed his name.

“I asked Jesus into my heart and declared the name of the Lawless one” is no evidence. That is a death sentence. The evidence of our salvation is that we keep the Law.

The Testimony of Yahuah that Yahusha is the Messiah

What does the term “testimony of Yahusha” mean? It must be important because WE must have it too…

Revelation 12:17
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of Yahuah, and have the testimony of Yahusha the Messiah.

It is that we believe in the witnesses that Yahuah gave that prove Yahusha is the Messiah and that we too “have the same testimony”. Those witnesses of Yahuah that Yahusha is the son of Yahuah is defined below as water, blood, and spirit…  They are “the testimony of Yahusha the Messiah” but what do they mean?

1 John 5:1-20
1  Everyone who believes that Yahusha is the Messiah is begotten of Yahuah, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of Yahuah: by loving Yahuah and keeping His Law. 3 In fact, this is love for Yahuah: to keep His Law. And that His Laws are not burdensome, 4 for everyone begotten of Yahuah overcomes the world. This is the conquering Spirit that has overcome the world, even our faith (in the promises of Yahuah). 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Yahusha is the son of Yahuah. (but how do we know for sure that Yahusha is the Son of Yahuah?)

6 This (Yahusha) is the one who came by water and blood—Yahusha the Messiah. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. 7 For there are three that testify (the testimony that Yahusha is The son of Yahuah): 8 the Spirit of Holiness, the water and the blood; and these three are in agreement (that Yahusha is The Son of Yahuah). 9 We accept human testimony (that Jesus is God incarnate), but Yahuah’s testimony is greater (and overcomes traditions of men) because it is the testimony of Yahuah, which he has given about his Son Yahusha. 10 Whoever believes in the Son of Yahuah accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe Yahuah (that Yahuah is not a man nor the son of man) has made him out to be a liar (saying Yahuah came to Earth as a man named Jesus), because they have not believed the testimony Yahuah has given about his Son. 11 And this is the testimony: Yahuah has given us eternal life, and this life is (found) in (covenant with) his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son (in covenant) has (eternal) life; whoever does not have (the covenant of) the Son of Yahuah does not have (eternal) life.

13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of (The Yahushaic Covenant) the Son of Yahuah so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching Yahuah: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him…

18 We know that anyone begotten of Yahuah does not continue to break the Law of Yahuah (believing in the Lawless one Jesus Christ); the One (Yahusha) who was born (again) of Yahuah keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them. 19 We know that we are children of Yahuah, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. 20 We know also that the Son of Yahuah has come and has given us understanding (of The Way by his life example), so that we may know Yahuah who is (the only) true (God; John 17:3). And we are in (covenant with) Yahuah who is (the only) true (God; John 17:3) by being in (covenant with) his Son Yahusha the Messiah (The Yahushaic Covenant). Yahuah is the true God (The Shema) and (giver of) eternal life.

What do water, blood, and spirit mean?

What is that testimony Yahuah gave that identifies Yahusha uniquely as His Son? That testimony is that Yahusha the Messiah was born human, with the bloodline to be King and High Priest, and begotten by the Spirit of Holiness.

Born, Bloodine, Begotten = water, blood, spirit!

I realize most people think “water” is baptism. It is not baptism it is that we believe that Yahusha was a man. Below the Apostle Sha’ul defines the testimony Yahuah gave to us that proves that Yahusha is the Messiah.

Romans 1
1 Sha’ul, a bondservant of Yahusha the Messiah, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of Yahuah (to proclaim the Kingdom of Yahuah through Yahusha the Messiah) 2 which Yahuah promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures (the Holy Scriptures are the Torah and Prophets), 3 concerning His Son Messiah Yahusha our King, who was born of the bloodline of David and born according to the flesh (human through water in the womb of a woman), 4 and begotten (declared) to be the Son of Yahuah with power according to the Spirit of holiness (Spirit), by the resurrection from the dead. 5 Through The Yahushaic Covenant we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for Yahuah’s name, 6 among whom you also are the called to be in covenant through Yahusha the Messiah;

Sha’ul is saying that Yahusha’s claim to Messiah is founded first and foremost on the Prophets in the Holy Scriptures that foretold of the coming human Messiah. They foretold of a human Messiah who would be a “Priest/King” known as Melchizedek which means “Royal Priest”.

Sha’ul goes on to prove Yahusha is that prophesied Messiah Melchizedek because he was born according to the flesh i.e. water, born into the bloodline of the seed of David i.e. blood, and begotten through resurrection i.e. Spirit.

Water

Yahusha was born human as prophesied through the womb of a woman and fulfilled “the sign” that was given for all highly anointed men that played a key role in The Plan of Salvation; a miraculous birth. All humans come into this world “through water” in their mother’s womb but Yahusha had to fulfill the sign of a “virgin birth” as foretold by Yahuah’s Prophets. So by water is the testimony that Yahusha was a HUMAN Messiah and a highly anointed man by the sign of a miraculous birth. I will explain further concerning The Virgin Birth next in this Chapter.

Blood

Yahusha was the descendant and heir to the Throne of David by blood through Joseph’s bloodline. Yahusha was heir to the office of High Priest being the great grandson (through Mary’s maternal line) of the High Priest over the rebuilding of the Second Temple Yahusha III. So by blood Yahusha fulfilled the requirements that the Messiah would restore the priesthood and the throne of David. I wrote an entire book on that testimony call Melchizedek and The Passover Lamb. Available on www.sabbathcovenant.com.

In the book above I demonstrate that Yahusha was the unique fulfillment of the Messiah who was prophesied to be the King of Israel and the High Priest of Israel. I will include parts of that book here in this section to explain the bloodline witness of Yahusha.

Spirit

Yahusha was then begotten as the son of Yahuah not through human birth but by the Spirit of Holiness through resurrection as the first born Son of Yahuah.

The reason this is important is because most people don’t understand that this is the proof that Yahusha is the Messiah. It is Yahuah’s witness of him. Most people are totally ignorant of who the Messiah really was and why. They believe he is the Messiah because of the miracles he performed because they say that is proof he was God. Those signs were given to a wicked and adulterous generation who required a “sign”. Those are not the true witnesses that he was the Messiah and son of Yahuah. Below I will explain each witness in greater detail.

Water – the witness of the Virgin Birth

Yahusha was born human as prophesied through the womb of a woman and fulfilled “the sign” that was given for all highly anointed men that played a key role in The Plan of Salvation; a miraculous birth. All humans come into this world “through water” in their mother’s womb but Yahusha had to fulfill the sign of a “virgin birth” as foretold by Yahuah’s Prophets. So by water is the testimony that Yahusha was a HUMAN Messiah and a highly anointed man by the sign of a miraculous birth.

The Christian doctrine of The Virgin Birth is one (of if not THE) most destructive false doctrines. It has literally lead to the false doctrine of Incarnation and to avoid Yahusha having been born under Original Sin (another false doctrine) we had to come up with yet another false doctrine of Immaculate Conception. All this lead to Mary being worshipped as Co-Redemptrix as the pagan Christian Church came full circle in worshipping The Queen of Heaven i.e. the Babylonian queen known as the goddess Ishtar (Easter).

What I want to do here is explain Yahusha’s miraculous birth and the sign of a “virgin” and establish Yahuah’s witness of Yahusha in sound doctrinal truth, not the traditions of men. The entire doctrine of Incarnation began with one sound bite taken totally out of context of Scripture. That sound bite is:

Matthew 1
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

Luke 1
27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

First I want to point out that what is called “The Holy Ghost” is not “ghost” or any entity whatsoever. It is The Spirit of Holiness (Holy Spirit), the breath of Yahuah given to all of us that teach us to keep His Law. So what that actually says is…

Matthew 1
18 Now the birth of Yahusha the Messiah was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of The Spirit of Holiness (Yahusha was born with the Spirit to keep the Law of Yahuah that would make Yahusha HOLY before Yahuah).

The reality is that the “Holy Ghost” or “breath of Yahuah” gives life to EVERY conception. There was no “Ghost” that came down and impregnated Mary. The Christian Church is built up around the doctrine of Incarnation that a “Holy” Ghost impregnated Mary and Jesus was a demi-god. If the Virgin Birth, the way it is taught, is proof of the incarnation why is it only mentioned in passing in only two of the Gospels and never mentioned at all by Yahusha or any other writer in the New Testament? That alone should have us asking questions of this doctrine. It just wasn’t important to Yahusha or anyone else.

The reason it is scarcely mentioned at all in The Bible is that the way The Virgin Birth is taught is a false doctrine and Yahusha was not the incarnation of God. Again we are dealing with uninspired modern translations that have poured into Greek words all the pagan implications to make Yahusha into a demi-god that would be accepted by pagan Greeks. That pagan demi-god is Hesus Horus Krishna a.k.a. “Jesus H. Christ” as the name has evolved over 1500 years.  I cover the identity of the false messiah in great detail in my book The Antichrist Revealed! and in my book Christianity: The Great Deception.  These books are available on www.sabbathcovenant.com

The word mistranslated into “virgin” relies on the Greek word Parthenos instead of the Hebrew word almah. Parthenos in Greek does mean “sexual virgin”. However, we are dealing with the fulfillment of the prophetic “sign” concerning the Messiah spoken through Isaiah (speaking of a sign in the Heavenly Scroll called ‘the son of man’), IN HEBREW not Greek. It was Isaiah’s prophecy in Hebrew that Yahusha must fulfill that the Messiah will be born of an “almah”. The Hebrew word for virgin does not mean “sexual virgin” that is a mistranslation into Greek. The Hellenized translators of our modern Bibles believed in (and to this day believe in) the Babylonian trinity where Semaramis was miraculously impregnated by the rays of the sun god Ba’al. To foster that pagan philosophy, the translators opted for the Greek meaning of “sexual virgin” instead of what Isaiah said in Hebrew. The prophecy that Yahusha must fulfill the witness of “water” and the sign of “a virgin” is spoken by Yahuah through Isaiah:

Isaiah 7:14

"Therefore Yahuah Himself will give you a sign (VIRGO): Behold (VIRGO), a young maiden of marrying age (almah) will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel,"

Quick side note here on “Call his name Immanuel”

“Immanuel” is a Hebrew name with “meaning” that gives glory to Yahuah. It, like Yahusha and Elijah, is a contracted sentence name (Imman – u – El) and as such can be a “title” not just a name. In Hebrew it is a contracted form of the sentence (Faithful and True Witness of Yahuah). It does not mean “God is with us” as it taught in the false Christian Church.

The word “aman” is the root in Hebrew of eman, or iman (the beginning of Immanuel)’? Aman is the same word and there are three; aman(u), amen(u) and iman(u). The word trail (with Strong’s numbers) is: Aman (H6004), Amen (H543) and Iman (H5973). There is also emune(ah), which means "I am one of them that are faithful and peaceable". We must, in the case of Hebrew, study the word trail to come to a full understanding of a “sentence name” or “title” such as Immanuel:

Strong’s H-6005. 'Immanuw'el, im-maw-noo-ale';

from {A.}H-5973 and {B.}H-410 with suff. pron. ins.; with us (is) God; Immanuel, a typ. name of Isaiah's son:--Immanuel.

Strong’s H-5973. 'im, eem;

from H-6004; adv. or prep. with (i.e. in conjunction with ), in varied applications; spec. equally with; often with prep. pref. (and then usually unrepresented in English):-- accompanying, against, and, as (X long as), before, beside, by (reason of), for all, from (among, between), in, like, more than, of, (un-) to, with (-al).

Strong’s H-410. 'el, ale;

short. from H-352; strength; as adj. mighty; espec. the Almighty (but used also of any deity):--God (god), X goodly, X great, idol, might (-y one), power, strong. Comp. names in "-el."

Strong’s H-6004. 'amam, aw-mam';

a prim. root; to associate; by impl. to overshadow (by huddling together):--become dim, hide;

Strong’s H-539 ‘aman aw’man;

Primary root word; properly, to build up or support; to foster as a parent or nurse; figuratively to render (or be) firm or faithful, to trust or believe, to be permanent or quiet; morally to be true or certain; once (Isa. 30:21; interchangeable 541) to go to the right hand:--hence, assurance, believe, bring up, establish, + fail, be faithful (of long continuance, stedfast, sure, surely, trusty, verified), nurse, (-ing father), (put), trust, turn to the right. (Click on the word “aman” above for the full Gesenius Hebrew-Chaldee definition, which I recommend that you do)

Strong’s H-352. 'ayil, ah'-yil;

from the same as H-193; prop. strength; hence anything strong; spec. a chief (politically); also a ram (from his strength); a pilaster (as a strong support); an oak or other strong tree:--mighty (man), lintel, oak, post, ram, tree.

 Strong’s H-193. 'uwl, ool;

from an unused root mean. to twist, i.e. (by impl.) be strong; the body (as being rolled together); also powerful:--mighty, strength.

So, ame(a)nu'el, imanu'el and emune'el all are Immanuel and together give us the full meaning. It's like how Yeshu, Yeshua, Yahushua, and Yahusha are all the same name, but sometimes it is spelled with an “e” or an “a”. “I” is often pronounced with the YEH sound. In fact, those that call themselves Ethiopian Jews say Amanu’el, which (to them) means “to have faith in Elohim, my faith is in EL, Amen (Amon, Imam, Magnet, Faith)” and claim this was a literal name for Yahusha, even citing Revelation 3:14.

Revelation 3:14
And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen (aman), the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of Yahuah;

The word “aman” defines itself there – a “faithful and true witness” of Yahuah. It is not just given to the Messiah, or Isaiah's son, but Yahuah Himself is also called "faithful and true". Moses and Samuel were called faithful witnesses they are “Immanuel”, as are many others.

http://www.biblestudytools.com/search/?q=faithful&c=&t=kjva&ps=10&s=Bibles

Immanuel is a title and not a literal name (much like Elijah is a title) - even though the prophecy has been misapplied and the word mistranslated as "god with us" in order to promote the church’s falsely claimed position of Yahusha's deity. Discernment tells us, however, that Yahusha WAS an Aman’el, and any other person who is faithful to YAHUAH’s two witnesses (the Law and The Prophets) is also an Aman’el.

Now back to the prophecy in Isaiah concerning the “virgin” prophecy.

Isaiah 7:14
"Therefore Yahuah Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a young maiden of marrying age (almah) will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel,"

In reality, Isaiah was speaking of the “sign in the sky of the son of man” that would herald the birth of a king. This is “the sign” that the Babylonian Astronomers, trained by the prophet Daniel (magi), were looking for and followed to the place (Bethlehem) where it was foretold the King would be born. This is the same “sign” that appears in the sky again at the time of the second coming:

Revelation 12:1-2
Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman (constellation Virgo or Virgin) clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth (to a King, the planet Jupiter).

This was a dual prophecy and dual sign. One fulfilled in the sky (heavens) as Yahuah’s plan of salvation is written in the stars (see my book Creation Cries Out!) and on Earth. Isaiah 7:14 says that an almah will bear a son. The problem is dealing with the Hebrew word mistranslated into Greek as “virgin” with a  sexual context implied.

This word is Strong's entry 5959. almah

http://biblesuite.com/hebrew/5959.htm

almah: a young woman, a virgin

Original Word: עַלְמָה
Short Definition: maidens

This word can mean sexual virgin in the sense that most young maidens are sexual virgins being “not married” but the primary meaning of this word is: young woman 1a) of marriageable age 1b) maid or newly married. Therefore, the word "almah" does not mean virgin in a sexual context but the primary meaning is young maiden of marrying age. The word occurs elsewhere in the Old Testament and never is it translated in sexual context as in Genesis 24:43 (”maiden“); Exodus 2:8 (”girl“); Psalm 68:25 (”maidens“); Proverbs 30:19 (”maiden“); Song of Songs 1:3 (”maidens“)

Here is the key. There is a Hebrew word for sexual virginbethulah. If Isaiah 7:14 was meant to mean virgin instead of young maiden, then Yahuah through Isaiah would have used bethulah to be specific concerning the birth of the Messiah. Yahuah is not a trickster. I am not saying that Mary was not a virgin, what I am saying is that she didn’t have to be; she simply had to be a young maiden of marrying age to fulfill the “sign” foretold by Isaiah. What I am saying is that Joseph and Mary were well within their rights to have sexual intercourse.

Could Mary and Joseph have conceived Yahusha through normal sexual relations?

There are two ways to understand the virgin birth scriptures, the traditional way of understanding i.e. Greek appropriate (traditions of men are tricky) and the Hebraic mindset of Scripture below. We all know the Greek understanding that Mary (a sexual virgin) and Joseph not having come together with her sexually had her put away with her cousin Elizabeth implying he wanted a divorce. None of that is true and not one word of it is said… it is implied doctrine.

Below is the true translation using the Hebraic mindset;

Matthew 1
18 This is how the birth of Yahusha the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was engaged to be married to Joseph (the subject of this is marriage not sex), but before they came together (speaking of marriage in context not sex), she was found to be pregnant through the will of Yahuah. 19 Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the Law (which declares those who are engaged to be husband and wife), and yet (although they were married in the eyes of Yahuah according to Yahuah’s Law and had not sinned in having sex during the engagement) did not want to expose her to public disgrace (because the commandments of men forbid sex before the ceremony to prove virginity), he had in mind to send her away quietly (to avoid the unnecessary scandal, not to divorce her. In fact, Joseph sent Mary and the baby into the protective custody of The Temple out of Herod’s reach).

You see, in the Law of Yahuah two people who are engaged are considered by Yahuah husband and wife:

Deuteronomy 22

23 If a man happens to meet in a town a young woman (almah) pledged to be married and he sleeps with her, 24 you shall take both of them to the gate of that town and stone them to death—the young woman because she was in a town and did not scream for help, and the man because he violated another man’s wife.

There is no commandment against engaged couples having sex in the Law! So the covenant of Marriage, whereby two people become man and wife, is made before Yahuah when the man asked the woman to be his wife and she accepts before Yahuah. The wedding ceremony is a human institution to celebrate that covenant previously made. That is why having sex with an engaged woman is adultery and there simply is no Law of Yahuah that forbids sex between engaged couples.

Joseph being a keeper of the Law of Yahuah (wonder why they put that in there?) knew they were well within there “legal rights before Yahuah” to make love and conceive Yahusha before they had come together in marriage according the human tradition. But explaining that to The Jews at that time that followed the traditions of men (The Talmud) would have been impossible and Mary would have been put to public shame.

So the reality is that it is possible that Yahusha was “the son of man” through actual physical sexual intercourse between “the man Joseph” and his wife Mary. After all Yahusha proclaimed over 87 times that he was the son of man. It is important we understand the Law because according to Torah standards that Yahusha was not born a bastard son, as is the case with Christianity’s doctrine that he was born outside of marriage. Joseph and Mary were husband and wife in the eyes of Yahuah.

It is also very possible that Mary was a sexual virgin (which I believe she was), but that does not imply in any way that Yahuah had sex with Mary and imparted a “Spiritual Seed” into Yahusha making him a demi-god as Christianity teaches.

The fact that Yahusha died should put an end to that false doctrine. Death is inherited through the father’s seed! Yahusha died. End of story. Yahusha was born by the seed of Joseph, and thereby death was imparted to him.

Could Mary have been a sexual virgin?

Yes Mary very well could have been a sexual virgin. In fact, I believe that she was. If she was (and she probably was) then Yahuah used Joseph’s seed in performing the miracle and Yahusha was still fully human in every way (Hebrews 2:17 NIV) the son of man “born human according to the flesh (Romans 1:3)”. Exactly as the Bible declares he was.

In fact, the phrases “image of God” and “son of God” are both phrases used to say “he was human” not a God:

Genesis 1:27
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Luke 3:38
the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, (Adam being) the son of God.

Psalm 82:6
"I said, 'You are "gods"; you are all sons of the Most High.'

These phrases are consistent throughout scripture. They did not take on some “magical” meaning when applied to Yahusha. Yahusha is the PERFECT (or rather first perfected) human or “perfect image” of The Almighty.

Hebrews 5:8-9 NKJV
8 though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience (to Yahuah) by the things which He suffered. 9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him (Yahuah),

Many men in The Bible who were instrumental in the Plan of Salvation were born highly anointed by Yahuah through miraculous births as a “sign”. Each one’s birth announced by an Angel. Each and every one of these men was born miraculously outside of sexual intercourse yet the “seed” of their father was used by Yahuah in the conception process.

The Miraculous Birth of Adam

Of course, Adam didn't have any parents and Adam is directly called the Son of Yahuah in the most literal terms. Adam had NO parents at all male or female, but the Breath of Yahuah alone gave Adam life. Yet... we do not worship Adam as equal to Yahuah and part of a polytheistic deity! Why is Adam considered human when it was truly the Breath of Yahuah from which he originated?

The Miraculous Birth of Isaac

Isaac was the Chosen One and brought about in a miraculous way to Abraham and Sara who BOTH were his parents. Abraham and Sara had given up on sexually conceiving and had turned to a slave woman Hagar to conceive the child and believed Ishmael to be the fulfillment of the promise. Not only were they no longer trying, but Sara’s womb was dead and she didn’t believe it in the first place and believe that prophecy was fulfilled in Ishmael. But that miracle did not make Isaac part of a GODHEAD. We do not worship Isaac as equal to Yahuah and part of a polytheistic deity! In the account of Isaac’s Miraculous Birth in Genesis we know Sara’s womb was “dead” and Sara too conceived a child of promise named Isaac through the miraculous intervention of the Angel of Yahuah. This child too was “brought” by an Angel of Yahuah and conceived with “The Spirit of Holiness” which means set apart. How does this differ from Mary/Joseph? It doesn't. Why is Abraham considered the biological father of Isaac when it was Yahuah who gave her the child? Because Yahuah used Abraham's seed in the miracle.

The Miraculous Birth of Sampson

Sampson was a Chosen One from the womb, a Nazarite to Yahuah, a Righteous Judge, and brought about in a miraculous way to Manoah and his wife, who WERE BOTH his true parents. But that did not make Sampson part of a GODHEAD. We do not worship Sampson as equal to Yahuah and part of a polytheistic deity! In Judges 13:2-5 Manoah’s wife was barren and unable to have children and at that time the act of sex was only performed to provide an heir so it is highly doubtful Monaoh was having a lot of sex with his barren wife. The Angel of Yahuah appeared to her too and gave her a son named Sampson who was a “Nazarite to Yahuah”. How does this differ from Mary/Joseph? It doesn´t. Why is Manoah considered the biological father of Sampson when it was Yahuah who gave his wife the child? Because Yahuah used Manoah´s seed in performing the miracle.

The Miraculous Birth of John the Baptist

The miraculous birth of John the Baptist is recounted in Luke’s Gospel where we learn of the elderly priest Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth, who was barren. While Zechariah was performing his priestly duties in the temple (not out having sex with his wife), the angel Gabriel came to him and prophesied the birth of a son. Because Zechariah doubted the word of the angel, he was struck dumb until the day of the birth, at which time, filled with the Holy Spirit, he proclaimed his prophetic canticle (Lk 1:68-79). But... this did NOT make John the Baptist part of the GODHEAD. We do not worship John as equal to Yahuah and part of a polytheistic deity! Why is Zechariah considered the biological father of John when it was Yahuah who gave Elizabeth the child? Because Yahuah used Zechariah´s seed in performing the miracle.

In each case above Yahuah came and announced the birth of a child through a messenger then brought about that birth in a miraculous way using the seed of the biological father… outside of sexual conception. Yahusha is different in that he was the most anointed of all and in true form Yahuah came to announce his birth through a messenger and then in a miraculous way the child was conceived with the seed of his biological father.

This is why Yahusha taught his lineage through his father Joseph to his disciples, because that bloodline that ran through Yahusha’s veins (given him by Joseph) was proof he was the Messiah! It is by that bloodline that he restored the Throne of David through Solomon which was the line of the Throne. I cover this in detail in my book Melchizedek and The Passover Lamb available free on www.sabbathcovenant.com.

Conclusion

We have to be careful with “traditions of men” as they have the tendency to nullify The Word of Yahuah as Yahusha said:

Matthew 15:6

Thus you nullify the word of Yahuah for the sake of your tradition.

In this specific case, the tradition that “Jesus was not the biological son of Joseph” nullifies “Jesus” from being the Messiah. The doctrine of Incarnation (built upon the doctrine of The Virgin Birth) is defined in Scripture as The Spirit of the False Messiah Jesus Christ. It is a tradition of men that literally nullifies Jesus Christ as the true Messiah. Jesus was not born of the physical seed of Joseph thereby failing the prophetic requirement that the Messiah would restore the throne of David and the priesthood by the witness of BLOODline. Yahusha, however, WAS born of the seed of David on both sides of his parental tree restoring both the Throne through Joseph and the priesthood through Mary. Joseph and Mary were chosen in an arranged marriage to bear the Messiah for those reasons!

In summary, it is possible and Lawful that Joseph and Mary had sex and conceived Yahusha because the only prophetic requirement of the Messiah was to be born of a “young maiden”. It is also possible and more likely that Mary was a sexual virgin and Yahuah did as He has done many times and used the seed of Joseph in performing a miracle demonstrating Yahusha’s high anointing. Either way one thing is crystal clear… Yahusha was born human through the seed of Joseph and Mary. This was proven by the fact that Yahusha inherited death in his body from Joseph and Yahusha died as proof.

The sons of Yahuah are begotten by Yahuah’s Spiritual Seed upon resurrection and those sons cannot die:

Luke 20:36
and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God's children, since they are children of the resurrection.

Furthermore, the throne of David was passed down by blood to Yahusha through Joseph’s bloodline which is through Solomon to David which is the lineage of the Throne. Mary’s lineage is through Nathan (the priest) to David which is the lineage of the priesthood not the Throne.

Yahuah’s witness of Yahusha is that he came by water (born fully human to both parents) and blood through the lineage of both Joseph and Mary Yahusha fulfilled the prophetic requirements of the Messiah to restore both the throne and the priesthood.

Blood – the Witness of Bloodline

Yahusha was the descendant and heir to the Throne of David by blood through Joseph’s bloodline. Yahusha was heir to the office of High Priest being the great grandson (through Mary’s maternal line) of the High Priest over the rebuilding of the Second Temple Yahusha III. So by blood Yahusha fulfilled the requirements that the Messiah would restore the priesthood and the throne of David. Yahusha is the Messiah by the witness of Yahuah as he fulfilled the prophets who foretold of Yahusha. If Yahusha fails to meet just 1 of those prophecies he cannot be the Messiah.

The Throne of David had to be restored because it fell into judgment for kings who committed idolatry against Yahuah. This is the reason there is an extended period of time when no man has sat on the Throne of David as King. The prophets foretold of a human Messiah (Messiah means anointed King of Israel) that would come and restore the Throne of David from its fallen state as well as restore the priesthood of Aaron and Levi that had fallen into idolatry.

The fall of the Throne of David and the Priesthood of Levi

It is clear that Yahuah brought judgment on the Kingly Line of David and cast it to the ground. It is even clearer, through prophecy of the coming Messiah, that Yahuah would restore that Kingly Line of David/Solomon and re-establish the priesthood.

Yahuah’s promise to David was eternal to be fulfilled by the Messiah. However, that promise was conditional to every other king who sat on that throne. Later King’s rebelled and Yahuah, while keeping the eternal promise alive to David, disciplined the Kings and Israel for rebellion.

We see the big “IF” below as these promises were conditional to every king:

I Kings 8:25
Now Yahuah, God of Israel, keep for your servant David my father the promises you made to him when you said, ´You shall never fail to have a man to sit before me on the throne of Israel, IF only your sons are careful in all they do to walk before me as you have done!´

In other words, Yahuah made it clear that there would be discipline and the throne would be suspended if all the Kingly Line were not obedient to His Law and govern righteously as David had done.

I Kings 9:4-7
4 “Now, IF you walk before Me as your father David walked, in integrity of heart and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and IF you keep my statues and my judgments, THEN I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I promised David your father, saying, ´You shall not fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.´ BUT if you or your sons at all turn from following Me, and do NOT keep My commandments and My statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods and worship them, THEN I WILL CUT OFF [DESTROY] ISRAEL FROM THE LAND which I have given them; and this house [of David] which I have sanctified for My name I will cast out of My sight. Israel will be a proverb and a byword among all peoples.”

This is exactly what happened, the Kings rebelled and followed after other gods, and did not exercise righteous judgment. The Throne of David ceased when Yahuah cursed King Coniah and his sons, and the Throne of David was thrown to ground because the King did not obey the Law of Yahuah. Coniah was dethroned by the King of Babylon, as prophesied by Jeremiah, and the House of Judah was sent into Babylonian Captivity:

Jeremiah 22:5; 24; 28-30
5 But if you will not hear these words, I swear by Myself,” says Yahuah, “that this house shall become a desolation.” …

24 As I live,” says Yahuah, “though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, were the signet on My right hand, yet I would pluck you off…

28 “Is this man Coniah a despised, broken idol—a vessel in which is no pleasure? Why are they cast out, he and his descendants, And cast into a land which they do not know? 29 O earth, earth, earth, Hear the word of Yahuah! 30 Thus says Yahuah:

Write this man (Coniah specifically) down as childless, A man who shall not prosper in his days; For none of his (direct) descendants shall prosper, Sitting on the throne of David, And ruling anymore in Judah.’”

King Coniah sat on the throne of David for 3 months before Yahuah fulfilled His Word through Jeremiah and dethroned him and sent him and the Southern Kingdom of Judah (the House of Judah) into Babylonian Captivity. No descendent of David has ever ascended the throne after that… until Yahusha that is.

The Messiah must genetically restore the throne and the priesthood

The false doctrine that Jesus is the incarnate God born outside of the seed of Joseph alone disqualifies “Jesus Christ” from being the true Messiah. The true Messiah was foretold by the prophets of Yahuah as the one who would restore the Throne of David being a direct blood descendant of David through Solomon. That bloodline runs through Yahusha’s father Joseph! The throne is not passed to “step children” it is passed to the first born son by blood. It is that bloodline that is the witness of Yahuah and the testimony that Yahusha is the Messiah… BLOOD.

Let’s take a look at the prophecies Yahusha must fulfill by blood to be the Messiah concerning the Throne of David. Below we see that Yahuah prophesied a “righteous branch” that would restore both the Throne of David and the Priesthood of Aaron and the Levites within the context of The New Covenant:

Jeremiah 33
14 ‘Behold, the days are coming,’ says Yahuah, ‘that I will perform that good thing which I have promised to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah (referring to The Yahushaic Covenant see Jeremiah 31 where the Law would be written on our hearts):

15 ‘In those days and at that time I will cause to grow up (in the bloodline) to David A Branch of righteousness; He shall execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. 16 In those days Judah will be saved, And Jerusalem will dwell safely. And this is the name by which he will be called: Yahuah OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS…

17 “For thus says Yahuah: ‘David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel; 18 nor shall the priests, the Levites, lack a man to offer burnt offerings before Me, to kindle grain offerings, and to sacrifice continually.’”

Now consider a much misunderstood passage of prophecy. If you will begin reading at the 18th verse of the 21st chapter of Ezekiel, you will see plainly that Yahuah is speaking of the captivity of Judah by the king of Babylon.

And, beginning in the 25th verse, He says:

Ezekiel 21:25-27
"And thou profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end, thus saith Yahuah your God; REMOVE THE DIADEM, AND TAKE OFF THE CROWN (as did happen, through the first half of Jeremiah’s commission): this [the crown] shall not be the same: EXALT him that is low, and ABASE him that is high. I will OVERTURN, OVERTURN, OVERTURN, it: and it shall be no more, until he comes whose right it is; and I will give it to him." (this a reference to the Messiah who would RESTORE the Kingly Line)

This prophecy, in fact, predicts the interruption of the Throne of David reflected in Amos 9: 11-12 and Acts 15: 16-18.

Ezekiel 21: 27
"Take off the crown...A RUIN, RUIN, RUIN I WILL MAKE IT; THERE SHALL NOT BE A TRACE OF IT until he comes whose right it is; and to him will I give it"

Amos prophesies what will happen when the Messiah returns:

Amos 9: 11-12
"On that day (at the return of the Messiah) I will raise up the House of David (the bloodline of David), which has fallen down, and repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old; that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the Gentiles who are called by My name," says Yahuah who does this thing.

Simon declared the prophecy in Amos to those in Jerusalem in Acts 15: 16-18. Jeremiah repeats this prophecy concerning Remnant Israel in Jeremiah 23:5-6.

If Yahusha is the true Messiah then he would by blood witness of Yahuah fulfill these prophecies and restore both the Throne of David and the priesthood by his bloodline. Yahusha was anointed King of Israel and High Priest of Israel directly by Yahuah when he was in the desert after being Mikveh’d (Baptized) by John.

We see a “vision” of this event in Zachariah Chapter 3:

Zachariah 3 - Clean Garments for The High Priest, Yahusha
1 Then he showed me Yahusha the high priest standing before the angel of YAHUAH, and Satan standing at his right side to accuse him. 2 YAHUAH (through His proxy The Angel before whom stood Yahusha and Satan) said to Satan, “YAHUAH rebuke you, Satan! YAHUAH, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?”

3 Now Yahusha was dressed in filthy clothes (metaphor of sin) as he stood before the angel. 4 The angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes.” Then YAHUAH said to Yahusha, “See (after taking off his filthy rags), I have taken away your sin (fifthly rags Isaiah 64:6), and I will put fine garments (of the High Priest) on you.”

5 Then I said, “Put a clean turban (of the High Priest) on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him (in the garments of the High Priest), while the angel of YAHUAH stood by. 6 The angel of YAHUAH gave this charge to Yahusha: 7 “This is what YAHUAH Almighty says (again YAHUAH speaking through His proxy Angel): ‘If (YAHUAH makes a conditional promise) you will walk in obedience to me and keep my requirements (the Torah), then (here is the promise if he keeps the Torah and obeys the Will of YAHUAH) you will govern my house (i.e. King of Israel) and have charge of my courts (Eternal Judge), and I will give you a place (as High Priest of Israel at the right hand of YAHUAH) among these standing here.

8 “‘Listen, High Priest Yahusha, you and your associates seated (who came) before you (probably Adam, Enoch, Moses, Elijah, etc.), who (those seated before him) are men symbolic of things to come (physical to spiritual parallels of the Messiah): I am going to bring (you, Yahusha) my servant (from this point forward), the Branch (he is the Messiah).

10 “‘In that day each of you will invite your neighbor to sit under your vine and fig tree,’ declares YAHUAH Almighty.”

I cover this in great detail in Chapter 3 of my book Melchizedek and The Passover Lamb. Below I will summarize what I detail in that book.

Princess Mary and Prince Joseph

Both Mary and Joseph were royalty in Israel as their bloodlines were carefully cultivated to produce the Messiah. The Jews in Israel at that time knew the prophecies of Daniel and the messianic expectations were very high. The marriage between Mary and Joseph was an arranged marriage to bring about the birth of the Messiah. Mary was chosen for her unique bloodline to both The House of David (through the priest Nathan) and to the chosen bloodline of High Priest the House of Zadok. Mary was literally a Princess on both sides of her lineage and was put in protective custody to spare her life from Herod who was hunting down and killing all Royalty that threatened his throne (this is why he attempted to kill her son… Yahusha):

·         Miriam was the grand-daughter of the first High Priest (Yahusha III) to serve in the second Temple - Mary was the daughter of Hannah (Anna) who lived in protective custody of The Temple, she was known as one of the ‘Daughters of Jerusalem’ whom Yahusha mentioned on occasion in Scripture. Hannah was the daughter of the High Priest Yahusha III.  Yahusha III was the first High Priest to serve in the second Temple coming out of Babylonian/Persian captivity. Yahusha III was a High Priest in the line of Zadok or a Zadokian High Priest. This is the prepared line of priesthood by Yahuah for the Messiah who would be the Ruling Zadok or MelchiZADOK! Yahusha was the great grandson of Yahusha III and direct heir to the office of High Priest as a Zadok Priest.

·         Miriam was also the daughter of Heli, a Davidic and Hasmonean prince – Heli (or Eli as he is called in the genealogy of Yahusha in the Bible) was also known as Alexander Helios (Heli) III. Eli was the son of the future Maccabee Queen Alexandra II, who at this time was known by her Jewish name, Esther of Jerusalem. Heli, the shortened nickname for Helios (“The Sun”), was a descendant of both the Maccabee Kings of Judea and a prince of the House of David, for his father was Matthan ben Levi, a Davidian Prince who was first married in his youth to the vivacious royal princess, Elizabeth of Jerusalem. Heli was executed, in the world where many Davidian aspirants, as the “young lions of Judah”, were eliminated by the cruel and tyrannical King Herod the Great as they were a threat to his throne.

Joseph, the father of Yahusha, came from a family of royal Davidian princes with his blood lineage going back to David through the Kingly Line of Solomon. Joseph was one of the “Lions of Judah” who were being prepared to either be the Messiah or sire the Messiah. All of whom carried the hidden dream of being the Promised One, or the father of the Promised One who would sit on the seat of their ancestral forefather, King David.

Yahuah’s BLOOD witness of Yahusha as the Messiah produced the most potent genetic merges in Jewish history. We find that Yahusha ben Yahseph was a genuine genetically eligible Priest-King. He would later be recognized as eligible to be a member of the Order of Melchizedek Priest-King, who’s first High Priest-King was Shem, the son of Noah. Here was a true fusion of the genetic tree between the House of Aaron the Levite and King David the Judaite. As such, a REAL threat to King Herod and the High Priest Chiapas! This blood witness that proves Yahusha is the Messiah of Israel is not taught in any seminaries, churches, higher learning Christian colleges, or anywhere else that I know of. But you can learn of it in my book… Melchizedek and The Passover Lamb available on my website www.sabbathcovenant.com

Spirit – The witness of the resurrection

The Spirit of Holiness is one of the 3 witnesses that Yahuah gave us to prove that Yahusha is the Son of Yahuah.

1 John 5
7 For there are three that testify (Yahusha is the Son of Yahuah): 8 the Spirit of Holiness, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement (that Yahusha is the Messiah and Son of Yahuah).

It is these 3 witnesses of Yahuah that testify that Yahusha is the Messiah. They are ‘the testimony of Yahusha’. Yahuah’s witness of the Spirit is that Yahuah declared Yahusha His Son through the power of the resurrection of the dead:

Romans 1
3 concerning His Son Messiah Yahusha our King, who was born of the seed of David (blood) according to the flesh (water), 4 and declared to be the Son of Yahuah with power according to the Spirit of holiness (Spirit), by the resurrection from the dead. 5 Through The Yahushaic Covenant we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for Yahuah’s name, 6 among whom you also are called to be in covenant through Yahusha the Messiah;

All the sons of Yahuah have the witnesses of water, blood, and spirit

As Scripture declares we must have the “testimony of Yahusha the Messiah”.

Revelation 12:17
Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring--those who keep Yahuah’s commands and hold fast their testimony of Yahusha.

Revelation 19
9 Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper (The Yahushaic Covenant is a marriage covenant) of the Lamb!’” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of Yahuah.” 10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who (themselves) have the (same) testimony of Yahusha (water, blood, spirit). Worship Yahuah! For the testimony of Yahusha is (that he fulfilled) the spirit of prophecy.”

We are all born human and have the witness of water, those chosen by Yahuah are all of the bloodline of Abraham/Isaac/Jacob and have the witness of bloodline, and we all will be declared sons of Yahuah by the Spirit of Holiness and the power of the resurrection.  I cover our blood witness in detail in Chapter 10 The Citizens of the Kingdom of Yahuah in my book the Kingdom of Yahuah. In that chapter I prove that that members of “Remnant Israel” are the only ones who are saved and they come exclusively from the bloodline of Abraham/Isaac/Jacob. They are “the elect” chosen from among the House of Judah (Jews) and the House of Israel (scattered among all nations).

Romans 9  Yahuah’s Sovereign Choice of the Remnant
27 Isaiah cries out concerning Israel:  "Though the number of the Israelites (both Houses) be like the sand by the sea, only the remnant will be saved."

Hebrews 2
16 For surely it is not angels Yahusha helps, but Abraham’s descendants.

Saved by Faith in the Promises of Yahuah

We have all been taught in Christianity that we are saved by faith not by works of the Law. It is a true statement that we are saved by faith, however we need to know what faith is to understand what that means.

Faith, by definition, is expressed through keeping the Law of Yahuah and believing in the promises made in Scripture which is the Torah and Prophets. In Scripture (the Torah and Prophets) Yahuah promised us:

·         Eternal life for obedience

·         Death for transgression

·         A Passover Lamb to cover our transgression

·         A Sabbath Rest

·         A Sabbath Resurrection

·         Sacrifices to cover our sin (transgression of His Law) to be made by the High Priest

·         A marriage covenant whereby he would give us a loving spirit of obedience to His Law which would be transposed into our hearts

Simply “saying you have faith” and not backing that faith up with action in keeping Yahuah’s commandments is dead faith. Christians are willingly ignorant of this fact and choose to believe all they need is to believe in Jesus Christ (the false messiah) and nothing else is required of them. I will cover in detail our responsibilities within The Yahushaic Covenant in this book.

Scripture declares we are saved through faith in Yahuah’s Law which is where His promises are given to us:

Psalm 119:147-150
147 I rise before dawn and cry for help; I have put my hope in your word. 148 My eyes stay open through the watches of the night that I may meditate on your promises. 149 Hear my voice in accordance with your love; preserve my life (eternal life), O Yahuah, according to your laws (eternal life is the promise for obedience to the Torah). 150 My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise (in the Torah) preserves my life.

Hebrews 6:11-13
11 We want each of you to show this same diligence (in keeping the Law of Yahuah) to the very end, in order to make your hope sure. 12 We do not want you to become lazy (abolish the Law), but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised (in the Law which is eternal life).

Hebrews 10:22-24
23Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess (in the promises of Yahuah), for he who promised (all of Yahuah’s promises are found in the Torah and Prophets true scripture) is faithful.

2 Peter 1:3-7
4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them (the promises of Yahuah in the Torah and Prophets) you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil (breaking His Law) desires.

Psalm 85:8
8 I will listen to what Yahuah your God will say; he promises peace to his people, his saints-but let them not return to folly.

Psalm 119:140
140 Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them.

Psalm 145:13
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. Yahuah is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.

2 Corinthians 1:20-22
20 For no matter how many promises Yahuah has made, they are "Yes" in covenant with Yahusha (because The Yahushaic Covenant is the transposition and fulfillment of all previous 6 covenants).

2 Corinthians 7:1
1 Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for Yahuah (which is defined as obedience to His Law).

Ephesians 1:13-14
13And you also were included in The Yahushaic Covenant when you heard the word of truth (Yahuah fulfilled His promises in Yahusha John 1), the gospel of your salvation (Yahusha is the Passover Lamb to cover “nail” the death decrees in the Law to the stake Colossians 2:14). Having believed (that Yahuah alone is God, the GREATEST commandment Mark 12:29), you were marked (on your forehead Revelation 22) in Yahuah (the name of God) with a seal (The Shema Deuteronomy 6:4-8), the promised Holy Spirit (of loving obedience to the Law Ezekiel 11), 14 which is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are Yahuah’s possession-to the praise of Yahuah’s glory.

James 1:12
12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that Yahuah has promised to those who love him (to love Yahuah is to keep His Law 1 John 5:3).

1 John 2:24-25
24 See that what you have heard from the beginning (the Torah and Prophets) remains in (written on your heart) you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is what he promised us (in the Torah) - even eternal life.

In The Yahushaic Covenant, it is exercising our faith through actions that are the spiritual equivalent to the physical shadow of animal sacrifices. The true sacrifices to Yahuah are faith through action of keeping His Law. We see this is true below, speaking of The Yahushaic Covenant, that it is “written on our hearts” and that we are to “do” or have a loving spirit of obedience toward His Law. That Spirit of Loving Obedience is the spiritual sacrifices required by Yahuah:

Psalm 40:6-8
6 Sacrifice and meal offering You have not desired; My ears You have opened; Burnt offering and sin offering You have not required. 7 Then I said, “Behold, I come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me (having a heart for the Law of Yahuah is a witness of us in The Book of Life). 8 I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law is within my heart (the foundation of The New Covenant Jeremiah 31).”

Faith without works of the Law is dead faith

James 2
8 If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture (the Scriptures he is referring to are the Torah and Prophets there was no NT for another 300 years. He is speaking to a Jewish audience), “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well; 9 but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the Law (specifically the decrees in the Law) as transgressors. 10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all (eternal life is promised for perfect obedience). 11 For Yahuah who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the Law. 12 So speak and so do (talk the talk and walk the walk) as those who will be judged by the Law of liberty (the Law with the death decrees covered by the blood of the lamb that LIBERATE us from the fear of death found in the Death decrees within the Law. Those Death decrees have been covered). 13 For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy (blood of the Passover Lamb) triumphs over judgment (imposed by the Death decrees in the Law).

14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works (of the Law)? Can faith save him? (no) 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works (for example having faith in Yahusha as the Passover Lamb is expressed in our keeping Passover in light of his sacrifice) 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works (not just faith) when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? (If Abraham would not have attempted to sacrifice Isaac in obedience to the command of Yahuah, his faith would have been dead faith. He had to express it through action for it to be reckoned to him as faith) 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed Yahuah (by sacrificing Isaac), and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of Yahuah. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Every writer in the NT confirms this fact. If you say you have faith and don’t express it through keeping the Law you are a liar and your faith is dead.

Grace is only found in context of the Law

The definition of Grace is the forgiveness of our transgressions against the Law. This Grace is extended only to those who in a spirit of loving obedience try as they may and fail to keep the Law completely.

We have a High Priest who serves the throne of Yahuah eternally making the gifts and sacrifices on our behalf for transgressing the Law.

Hebrews 5 Qualifications for High Priesthood the Messiah Our High Priest Forever

1 For every high priest taken from among men (Yahusha was a man appointed High Priest by Yahuah) is appointed for men in things pertaining to Yahuah (Yahusha was appointed on our behalf in things pertaining to Yahuah), that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices (defined in the Law, outside of the Law there is no definition for such gifts and sacrifices) for sins (transgressing the Law). 2 He can have compassion on those who are ignorant (of Yahuah’s Law) and going astray (from the commands of Yahuah), since he himself is also subject to weakness (bound by sinful flesh, Yahusha was baptized by John for repentance of such weaknesses). 3 Because of this (his own guilt of transgression) he is required (to repent) as for the people (he makes sacrifices), so also for himself, to offer sacrifices for (his) sins (Yahusha offered his own life and blood to atone). 4 And no man takes this honor to himself, but he who is called by Yahuah, just as Aaron was.

A Priest Forever

5 So also Yahusha did not glorify himself to become High Priest, but it was Yahuah who said to Yahusha (upon resurrection):

        "You are My Son,

        Today I have begotten You."

6 As Yahuah also says (of Yahusha) in another place:

"You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek" (Yahusha by bloodline was Melchi (royal) and by bloodline was of The House of Zadok);

7 who (Yahusha), in the days of his flesh (when he was fully human in every way), when he had offered up prayers and supplications (for Israel and himself vs. 3 above), with vehement cries and tears to Yahuah who was able to save Yahusha from death, and was heard (by Yahuah) because of his (Yahusha’s) godly fear (of or reverent submission i.e. PIETY to Yahuah Zachariah Chapter 3), 8 though he (Yahusha) was a Son, yet he (Yahusha) learned obedience (to the Torah over time through a life on Earth) by the things which he suffered (being disciplined by Yahuah as are all men of Yahuah Revelation 3:19, Hebrews 12:6). 9And having been perfected (over time through discipline), he (Yahusha) became (perfected through obedience to the Torah and) the author of eternal salvation (forefather of everlasting life Isaiah 9:6)  to all who obey him (by keeping the commands of Yahuah), 10 (Yahusha was) called by Yahuah as High Priest (from among men Hebrews 5:1) "according to the order of Melchizedek (the witness of blood and testimony of Yahusha)," 11 of whom (Yahusha) we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing (mind not set on the Spiritual Law of God but on the flesh which transgresses the Law Romans 8:7). 12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers (of the Torah, at that time there was no such thing as the "New" Testament), you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God (the Torah); and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk (has abolished the Torah) is unskilled in the word of righteousness (the Torah/Law which is Holy, Righteous, and Good Romans 7:12), for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age (mature Saints with minds set on Spiritual Law), that is, those who by reason of use (by obedience to the Torah/Spirit of the Law) have their senses exercised (trained by the Torah through physical to spiritual parallels) to discern both good and evil (which is defined by the Law of Yahuah).

Romans 5 Faith Triumphs in Transgression of Law - Death in Adam, Life in the Messiah

1 Therefore, having been justified by faith (in the promises of Yahuah made in the Torah), we have peace with Yahuah through our King Yahusha the Messiah (by whose blood we are in covenant with Yahuah for forgiveness of transgressing the Law, making us complete in obedience to the Law), 2 through whom (the blood of Yahusha, the Eternal High Priest) also we have access (to Yahuah) by faith into this grace (forgiveness of our transgressions as we keep the Law with a spirit of loving obedience not fear of death) in which we stand (keeping the commands but falling short i.e. the battle between Flesh/Spirit), and rejoice (crying Abba Father) in hope of the glory of Yahuah (that we will be forgiven and resurrected Elohim promises made in the Torah). 3 And not only that (hope in future glory found through faith in the promises made in the Torah), but we also glory in tribulations (knowing that Yahusha became perfected through them by obedience to the Torah), knowing (by Yahusha’s example) that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of Yahuah has been poured out in our hearts (the Law of Love, the Torah has been written on the ‘tablets’ of our hearts) by the Holy Spirit (of Truth, one of the 7 Spirits of Yahuah) who was given to us.

The Messiah in Our Place

6 For when we were still without strength (to fully obey the Law of God, the Law was weakened by our flesh Romans 8:3), in due time (as proclaimed by the Prophets and promises made in the Torah) Yahusha died (in fulfillment of the Passover Lamb promise found in the Torah) for the ungodly (the transgressors of the Law). 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die (it is an amazing thing that someone would even die for a righteous man); yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die (even rarer to die for a good man). 8 But Yahuah demonstrates His own love toward us (sons of God), in that while we were still sinners (defined as transgressors of the Law 1 John 3:4), Yahusha died for us (the perfect example of obedience in love). 9 Much more then (Yahusha made whole the Law as the fulfillment of the Passover Lamb promise found in the Law, providing Grace to cover our transgression of the Law), having now been justified (made just before and one with Yahuah in faith by obedience to the Torah) by His (Yahusha's) blood (of the Passover Lamb, the consummation of the marriage covenant), we shall be (upon resurrection) saved from wrath (the second death, the Spiritual meaning of The Passover) through him (Yahusha, by the blood of the Passover Lamb). 10 For if when we were enemies (hostile to the Law of God Romans 8:7) we were reconciled to Yahuah through the death of His Son (Yahusha, The Passover Lamb of Yahuah), much more, having been reconciled (found perfect in obedience to the Law through faith in the covenant with Yahuah through Yahusha), we shall be saved (from the second death) by his (eternal) life (Yahusha defeated death in the resurrection). 11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in Yahuah (that we are sons) through (faith in) our King Yahusha the Messiah, through whom we have now received the reconciliation (to Yahuah as future begotten sons of Elohim as we are saved through faith in the promise that Yahuah would send a Passover Lamb through which sacrifice we would be found 100% obedient to His Law and receive eternal life promised in the Torah and adoption as sons).

Death in Adam, Life in the HUMAN Messiah

12 Therefore, just as through one man (Adam disobeyed Yahuah’s commands bringing death as promised in the Torah for transgression) sin entered the world, and death through sin (the penalty of sin is death), and thus death spread to all men (not sin, Original Sin is a false doctrine), because all sinned (we aren’t born under sin, we all commit sin that justifies our death)—13 For until the (written) law (in the Mosaic Covenant) came sin was still in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law (so since sin was being imputed at the time of Adam… the Law was alive and active… the Law teaches us what is Holy and what is sin). 14 Nevertheless (even without the written Law, the penalty of the Law was active) death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam (God’s Holy Law was more than just what Adam did), who (Adam) is a type of him (Yahusha) who was to come.

15 But the free gift (of Yahusha defeating the Law of Sin and Death) is not like the offense (of bringing into the world sin and death). For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of Yahuah and the gift (of grace in light of transgressing the Law) by the grace of the one man, Messiah Yahusha, (atonement had to be at the hands of a human not a god) abounded to many (who would be saved through faith in the promises found in the Law). 16And the gift (of grace in light of transgressing the Law) is not like that (penalty of death for transgressing the Law) which came through the one man who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation (to death of the physical body), but the free gift (of life through obedience and grace in light of transgressing the Law) which came from many offenses resulted in justification (we are justified by our loving obedience to the Law and by Grace as the blood of the lamb covers our transgression).

17 For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of (total) righteousness (through Yahusha we are found in total compliance with the Law and that total compliance is a gift as we attempt to keep His Law out of love not fear of death) will reign in (everlasting) life through (blood covenant in and faith in) the one (man), Yahusha who is the (100% fully human in every way) Messiah (the Passover Lamb of Yahuah).

18 Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation (to death of the physical body), even so through one man's righteous act (of self denial, obedience, and love unto death to fulfill the Passover promise) the free gift (of grace in light of transgressing the Law bridging the gap to total obedience to the Torah and the promise of obedience is Life Eternal) came to all men (who have faith in the promises of Yahuah), resulting in justification (before Yahuah) of life (after death). 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one man's obedience many (not ALL men ever created but many who have faith in the promises of Yahuah) will be made righteous (you are saved through faith and made in right standing with the Law).

20 Moreover the (Holy, Righteous, Good) law entered (was given by Yahuah) that the offense might abound (God’s Holiness was made clear by the Law as well as our need and the promise of a savoir). But where sin (transgression of the Law) abounded, grace (forgiveness of those transgressions) abounded much more (as Yahuah delivered us who have faith in His Promises found in the Torah through His Son and freely reconciled us to Himself), 21 so that as sin reigned in death (the Law of Sin and Death or the Law with active death decrees for disobedience to it), even so grace (the Law with the death decrees covered or the Law of the Spirit of Life) might reign through righteousness (keeping the Law) to eternal life through (the blood of and faith in) Yahusha the Messiah (who made whole the Law providing Grace in light of transgression by fulfilling the promise of the Passover)

That is what “saved by faith” means. We were delivered by ONE MAN’s obedience that overthrew ONE MAN’s disobedience. It took the death of a human in obedience to the Law to break the Law of Sin and Death. If Yahusha was “god” in any way that sacrifice would have been ineffective! We are saved by faith in the promises Yahuah made in His Torah and Prophets and that faith is made alive by our exercising that faith through good works of keeping His Law. We enter into The Yahushaic Covenant for the forgiveness of our inability to fully keep His Law. It is the blood of the Passover lamb that covers the decrees that demand our death. With those decrees covered we are brought into complete compliance and total obedience to the Law as a free gift of the Messiah. Being found in compliance with the Law we obtain the blessing in the Law which is Eternal life.
