The Passover Lamb of Yahuah

by Rav Sha'ul

Why do I celebrate Passover?  On the 14th of Abib, Tuesday night in AD30, Yahusha celebrated the Passover (Last Supper) with his disciples.  And commanded we "do this" or specifically celebrate Passover in remembrance of him.

Luke 22:19 (New American Standard Bible)
19 And when He had taken some bread and given thanks (at Passover), He broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This (Passover Dinner) is My body (Passover Lamb) which is given (sacrificed) for you; do this (keep Passover) in remembrance of Me."

The next day... Yahusha was sacrificed on the Passover as the Passover Lamb of God.

Yashua the Messiah commands all of His called and chosen ones, who have been chosen for salvation to always remember Me (Yahusha) and My Death every year at My commanded Passover Service. They were to remember all of His sufferings,  pains of bruising,  His blood being spilled and His death with the understanding why this was permitted and how this pertains to their sins being forgiven.

"Behold the (Passover) Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."... John 1:29

"and he looked at Yahusha as He walked, and said, "Behold, the (Passover) Lamb of God!" ... John 1:36

"Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast--as you really are. For the Messiah, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the Festival (of Passover), not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth." ... 1 Corinthians 5: 7-8

"For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of the Messiah, a lamb without blemish or defect (referring to the Passover Lamb as commanded by YHWH). ... 1 Peter 1: 18-25

"Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain (referring to the Passover Lamb of God)... Rev 5:6

"In a loud voice they sang: "Worthy is the (Passover) Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!"... Rev 5:12

"Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "To him who sits on the throne and to the (Passover) Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" ...Rev 5:13

~Passover is April 13th, 2006~ ~Passover actually begins at Sundown on the 12th~

The first Passover was commanded so that the Israelites would have the proper sacrifice of the blood of the Lamb on their doorsteps in order to be "Passed Over" from the Angel of Death.  This was a physical portrait or metaphor of a greater Spiritual Truth.  The greater Spiritual significance was that YHWH would send His Messiah who would be sacrificed according the the Passover requirements.  The Blood of the True Passover Lamb on the doorsteps of our hearts saves us from the SECOND DEATH as we are "Passed Over" from judgment on the day of judgment and we are spared the second and final death by fire.

The Temple was destroyed in AD70.  40 years (1 generation) prior was the year of crucifixion... AD30.  The Passover in AD30 was the 14th of Abib and began sundown Tuesday night.  Yahusha celebrated the Passover with his disciples Tuesday night as YHWH commanded.  The Jews (in rebellion coming out of Babylonian captivity) combined the Feast of Unleavened Bread with the Passover and celebrated the meal sundown the next day on Wednesday the 15th of Abib.

After celebrating Passover on Tuesday night, Yahusha went to the garden to pray.  He was arrested and "prepared" that night by the High Priests.  Then tried by Rome the next morning on Wednesday.  The prisoner was released according to the Jewish custom on the Passover (Wednesday the 15th).  Yahusha was sacrificed at the exact time the High Priests were preparing the Passover Lamb for slaughter in the Temple around 4pm on Wednesday the 15th of Abib AD30... The Passover.  Even the guards present knew... they just witnessed the fulfillment of the Passover.

Yahusha spent exactly 3 days/3 nights in the grave as he himself prophesied and was resurrected on the Sabbath at 4pm... The Feast of First Fruits becoming the First Fruits from the Grave.

I encourage everyone to put their faith in the proper sacrifice.  We are saved through faith in the promises of YHWH.  He promised us He would send His Messiah according to His Feast Cycle and provide the perfect sacrifice for our sin.  That was the Passover Lamb of YHWH and the Lord of the Sabbath.

YHWH never promised a Friday sacrifice (which was NOT the Passover) nor did he ever promise a Sunday resurrrection.  He gave us His Feast Cycle so that we would know the true Messiah.

Whose blood is on your heart?  The Passover Lamb of YHWH and Lord of the Sabbath?

or

The Good Friday Lamb and Lord of Sunday given to us by Catholicism who destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple and has been killing the sons of YHWH since?

You are saved through faith in the promises of YHWH.  One was that promise.  The other was never promised and never happened.  One will save you from the Second Death as you are "Passed Over" from judgment.  The other... will not.  If your faith is in Good Friday there was never any blood shed on that day and you have none on your heart and will stand accountable.

Is your faith properly grounded in the promises of YHWH?  Do you have faith in the proper sacrifice?  Do you obey YHWH or human tradition.  We cannot make things up and do as we will.  We are to obey every word that proceeds from the mouth of YHWH.

As for me and my house we will serve Yahusha.  And by both his example and command, we will "do this" and keep the Passover in rememberance of him... the Passover Lamb of God.

If our faith is in the WRONG sacrifice (Catholic Good Friday Lamb and Lord of Sunday) we will hear the following:

Matthew 7

21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father (who commanded the Passover) who is in heaven will enter (by faith in the Passover Lamb by doing as Yahusha commanded and keeping Passover in rememberance of him).

22 "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'

23"And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; 'DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS (lawlessness is not obeying the Law of YHWH which is where the Passover is commanded).'

You see, many have been misled and put their hope and faith in promises never made by YHWH.  They have the WRONG sacrifice as they are lawless (without the Torah) and have put their faith in and celebrated an event that never occurred (Good Friday).  And in rebellion they refuse to simply obey YHWH and keep His Passover and obey Yahusha and do it in remembrance of him.  They keep a pagan Good Friday and have put their faith in the wrong sacrifice a sacrifice that never occurred.  And in truth... they never knew the Messiah, Passover Lamb, and Lord of the Sabbath.  And they will not be passed over from the Second Death by fire.

Matthew 25:41

"Yahusha says: "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting FIRE,. . ."
