The Resurrection a single event
“seen” as two events

by Rav Sha'ul

The Resurrection is a single event occurring in the context of space and time.  That is why to be absent from the body is for everyone to immediately be present with Yahusha and stand judgment:

1 Corinthians 5

8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with Yahusha (in the resurrection at the fullness of time).

We know from the Theory of Relativity that a single event in time/space can be witnessed in the linear timeline called History at two different times based on the distance the people witnessing the even are from the event itself.  The event only seems to occur at a later time in history:

According to Einstein, two people observing the same event in the same way could perceive the singular event occurring at two different times, depending upon their distance from the event in question. These types of differences arise from the time it takes for light to travel through space. Since light does travel at a finite and ever-constant speed, an observer from a more distant point will perceive an event as occurring later in time; however, the event is "actually" occurring at the same instant in time. Thus, "time" is dependent on space.

What we witnessed within the concept of “time” in our linear history was THE resurrection at the fullness of time when Yahusha declared “it is finished”.  That would be the spiritual Point of Singularity.  That event, which transcended time and space into the realm of the Spirit, was witnessed immediately by those present at “the fullness of time”.  It was then recorded in our history and seen later in that timeline two more times.  As Einstein stated those alive at that moment when Yahusha declared “it is finished” were closest to the event and therefore witnessed it immediately.  That single event, however, is seen by humanity within the confines of linear time as two events called the first and second resurrections because of our distance in time from the event itself.

What I am saying is that all of those who died before Yahusha and after Yahusha are all resurrected simultaneously with Yahusha as the entire timeline steps forward at once transcending "time" to stand judgment.   The resurrection is one single event in the spiritual realm.  It is explained as two events within the context of linear “time” but witnessed within that timeline at the fullness of time.  That is when we “saw the graves give up their dead’.

What we don't understand being trapped within the timeline (our minds being limited within a 3 dimensional framework) is that we too were resurrected at that exact moment in "time/space".  Time is not real.  It is a fabric of creation that is pulled over our eyes to hide the truth in the spiritual realm.  It is very difficult for us who are trapped within the boundaries of "time" to understand what occurred outside of those boundaries at the fullness of time.  I hope I have done an adequate job explaining the concept so that we have “eyes to see” the truth of the resurrection of the dead.

The fact that the resurrection was literally witnesses at the fullness of time was a major stumbling block for many in the first century AD.  After all, they were being told to put their hope in the resurrection but they had already seen it!  We see the Apostle Paul had to deal with this same topic in the years following the event in history.  People did not understand what I am explaining here.  Below we see that they struggled with understanding how they could be resurrected when it had already occurred within their lifetime:

2 Timothy 2

15 Do your best to present yourself to Yahuah as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 16 Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. 17 Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18 who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some.

The Second Coming and the First Resurrection

Those graves (all of them past and future; the entire timeline) that gave up their dead at the fullness of time followed Yahusha, who was the first fruits of the grave.  Those sons of YHVH resurrected with him return immediately with him as they transcend "time and space" (travel in time) and re-enter the timeline at the end of 6,000 years called The Second Coming. They return with Yahusha to wage war and liberate this creation and establish His Kingdom on Earth. This event is seen within the context of time as The First Resurrection.  There is no "heaven" as taught; we don't float around on a cloud playing harps in some mythical never never land. We rule His creation as sons of God and that is an amazing EVENT that occurred at the fullness of time when all the sons of God lead by Yahusha were raised, glorified, and return (in time around the 6,000 year mark) to reclaim what was lost for Yahuah.

We witnessed that when the "graves gave up their dead", Yahusha said it was finished, and Yahuah raised his entire family at that moment "in time".  The "souls before the throne of YHVH coming out of the Great Tribulation" is just a metaphor just like "the smoke of the fire of judgment day" raises to His Throne for eternity or the "sins of the people have risen to the Throne of YHVH". It is saying that their trials and tribulations and cries for help are forever before Yahuah demanding His righteous judgment on this Earth.  They are not literally standing under the Throne of Yahuah crying out.  There is no “time” where Yahuah exists.
