1 Holy brothers, you therefore who share in a heavenly calling,
consider Yahusha, the one sent by Yahuah (Yahusha
was an apostle not Yahuah in the flesh) and high priest of our
testimony (see commentary),

We
have the same testimony as Yahusha…
Revelation 12:17
Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage
war against the rest of her offspring--those who keep Yahuah's
commands and hold fast their testimony of Yahusha the Messiah.
Revelation 14:12
This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of Yahuah
who keep His commands and remain faithful to (the
testimony of) Yahusha the Messiah.
Revelation 12:11
They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of
their testimony (of Yahusha the Messiah).
That testimony is that he came to fulfill The Heavenly
Scroll…
Hebrews 10:7
Then I said, 'Here I am--it is written about me in the heavenly
scroll-- I have come to do your will, my God! (Matthew
6:10)
Matthew 6:10
Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is (written)
in (the) heaven(ly
scroll).
That is the Great Commission…
Matthew 4
16 the
people living in darkness have seen a great light (The Sun is a metaphor of the Spiritual Light of the World see John 1); on those living in the land of the shadow of death, a
light has dawned (The Heavenly Scroll is being fulfilled
John 1) .” 17 From that time on Yahusha began to preach, “Repent,
for the kingdom of (revealed in) heaven (Shamayim 'the place in the sky where
the stars are located ie The Heavenly Scroll) is at
hand (he has come to fulfill it).”
This testimony was prophesied by John’s father the priest
Zechariah…
Luke 1:76-79
76 And
you, my child, will be called a Prophet of the Most High (for
proclaiming The Heavenly Scroll/Plan of Salvation);
for you will go on before The Messiah to prepare THE WAY for him (of
Mikveh, Circumcision, and Offering Matthew 3:13-17), 77 to
give his people the Knowledge of Salvation through the forgiveness
of their sins (through
MIKVEH called The Way), 78 because
of the tender Mercy of our Elohim, BY WHICH THE RISING SUN WILL
COME TO US FROM THE HEAVENLY SCROLL (Yahusha
will fulfill The Heavenly Scroll)!
2 who, Yahusha, was faithful to Yahuah who appointed him heir of
Creation (Hebrews 1:2), as Moses also
was faithful in all Yahuah’s Tabernacle. 3 For Yahusha, as
the Chief Cornerstone of the Temple of Yahuah (Ephesians
2:19-22), has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses—just
like the builder of a house has much more glory and has more honor than
the house itself. 4 (For every house is built by someone, in
the same way Yahuah is the builder of Creation.) 5 Now Moses
was a servant and faithful in all Yahuah’s Tabernacle and testified to
the things that were to be spoken later (by a
greater prophet Deuteronomy 18:15), 6 but the Messiah
(the Greater Prophet) is faithful over
Yahuah’s Temple as a son of the resurrection
(Romans 1). And we are Yahuah’s Temple,
if indeed we hold fast our confidence and our boasting in our hope of
our own resurrection (1 Thessalonians
4:13-18).

This spiritual Truth concerning the state of the
Temple of Yahuah is a consistent theme in Scripture which
clearly defines the Temple of Yahuah as the human body in The
Yahushaic Covenant:
John 2
19 Yahusha answered and said unto them, destroy
this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20 Then said the
Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou
rear it up in three days? 21 But he spoke of the temple of his
body.
I Corinthians 6:19
Do you not know that
your body is a temple of the Spirit of Yahuah who is in you, whom
you have from Yahuah?
II Corinthians 6:16
What agreement has the
Temple of Yahuah with idols? For we are the temple of the living
Elohim; just as Yahuah said, “I will dwell in them and walk
among them; and I will be their Elohim, and they shall be My
people.”
Ephesians 2:19-22
So then you are no
longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the
saints, and are of Yahuah’s household, having been built upon the
foundation of the apostles and prophets, the Messiah Yahusha Himself
being the corner stone (of the Temple of
Yahuah), in whom the whole building, being fitted together is
growing into a Holy Temple of Yahuah; in whom you also are being
built together into a dwelling of Yahuah in the Spirit (the
Kingdom of Yahuah).
I Peter 2:5
You also, as living
stones, are being built up as a spiritual house (Temple)…
7 Therefore, as the Spirit of Holiness says, “Today, if you hear his
voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion (Psalm
95:7-11).”, 9
where your fathers put Me to the test (at
Meribah and Massah as the Israelites --
Exodus 17)
and saw My works for forty years. 10 Therefore I was
provoked with that generation, and said, ‘They always go astray in their
heart; they have not known My ways.’ 11 As I swore in My
wrath, ‘They shall not enter My Sabbath rest.’”
12 Take care, brothers, let there not be in any of you an evil,
unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. 13 But encourage
one another daily, for as long as it is called “today,” that none of you
may become hardened and deceived by sin. 14 For we are all
partakers in The Yahushaic Covenant, if we indeed hold to our original
testimony (that Yahusha fulfilled The
Heavenly Scroll) and endure in that truth until the end
of our lives (Matthew 24:13).
15 As Yahuah said, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden
your hearts as in the rebellion.” 16 For who were those
who heard Yahuah’s voice at Mt. Sinai and yet still they rebelled? Was
it not all those who left Egypt led by Moses? 17 And with
whom was Yahuah provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who
sinned (against the Sabbath), whose
bodies (did not enter the promised land and)
fell in the wilderness?

Just as the bodies of those who rebelled against The Sabbath fell in
the wilderness and were not allowed to enter the promised land rest
in the Exodus out of Egypt, so too will the dead bodies of those in
the Greater Exodus litter the ground…
Isaiah 66:22-24
(previous
verses talked about a sign, The Sabbath, being set among the
gentiles and those who keep the sign are brought out of the nations.
That sign is the Sabbath -- Exodus 31:13)
22 “For just as the new heavens and the new earth that I am making
will continue in my presence,” says Yahuah, “so will your
descendants and your name continue. 23 “Every month on Rosh-Hodesh
and every
week on Shabbat, everyone
living will
come to worship in my presence (they
won’t be worshipping on Sunday),”
says Yahuah. 24 “As they (who
bear His Sabbath Sign)
leave (from
worshipping Yahuah on The Sabbath), they
will look on the corpses of the people who rebelled against me (in
context rebelled against His Sabbath)
for their worm will never die, and their fire will never be
quenched; but they will be abhorrent to all humanity.”
18 And whom did He swear they would not enter His Sabbath rest, but
to those who were disobedient to the Sabbath? 19 So we
see that they were unable to enter Yahuah’s Rest because of
unbelief.
