Introduction

In this series leading up to The Passover Season, I am going to teach the following topics:

  • Yahuah’s Will and Promise Written in the Stars (forgive our sin and remember our iniquity no more)

  • Feasts Proclaimed in The Heavenly Scroll

  • Feasts Celebrated Prior to the Mosaic Covenant

  • Abraham and Isaac, the rehearsal begins

  • "Crossing Over" and the Exodus

  • Why slaughter a Lamb on Passover?

  • The Scarlet Thread of Redemption

  •  The Groom Pays the Dowry for His Bride

  • Passover is The Narrow Gate

  • How to Celebrate The Passover Season (Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Feast of Weeks)

I want to go back to the very beginning, creation itself, and trace the origin of Passover. We are all taught Passover's beginnings are found in the Exodus out of Egypt. This, however, is not the origin of Passover!

We all have been taught in depth the letter of the law concerning Passover, the requirements for the Passover Lamb, the meal, and so forth. What we are not taught is "why". What is the intent and meaning of these rituals? "They point to the coming Messiah", "the Messiah fulfilled Passover", and "The Messiah is the Lamb of God"... we are told. Is all that true? Is Yahusha the fulfillment of Passover or the other way around?!?! What do all those statements really imply? What is the meaning of the Exodus, the Greater Exodus, and the term "crossing over"?

Most importantly, why would a loving God require the death of a little spotless lamb as a "sacrifice" and why require the death of His first born-again son to fulfill it?

Lot's of questions if you really want to develop "eyes to see and ears to hear" beyond the milk we are fed from our immature (at best) teachers in Christianity and Hebrew Roots. I will answer them all in great detail and hopefully, when I am done, this Passover will be the first Passover you celebrate with the proper understanding of what is... The Narrow Gate and walk through it into the Promised Land.
