Passover Preparation Day (14th of Abib) is when
the Sinful Flesh is offered as a Living Sacrifice. We ready ourselves to
keep the 2nd Passover Meal with unleavened bread by walking The Way on
Passover Preparation Day (the 14th of Abib) after celebrating the
Chaggigah meal the night before (13th). The Chaggigah (remembrance meal)
is to remember what the Passover Season is celebrating. Which is
Yahuah's Will written in The Heavenly Scroll fulfilled in Yahusha the
Messiah. The Groom pays the dowry for his Bride.
After walking
The Way on the Preparation Day we are "made Righteous", we enter into
The Kingdom led by the Great Shepherd through The Narrow Gate.

As we have discussed already, at the end of the
13th Day and beginning of the 14th Day, is the Chaggigah or “remembrance

Then, after the Chaggigah remembrance fellowship
meal, the Passover begins with The Preparation Day, which ends with the
Passover Meal. After the Chaggigah meal, as the day turned from the 13th
to the 14th of Abib, and The Preparation Day began; we see Yahusha go
through the Mikveh ritual to prepare himself and his disciples. Then the
lambs are slaughtered on the altar and prepared for dinner by roasting
over an open flame.
However, the Passover Meal begins just prior
to dusk on the 14th of Abib after The Day of Preparation; usually near
sunset at the end of the day, which (in Jerusalem) is approximately
thirty to forty minutes prior the beginning of the 15th of Abib.

Traditionally, the preparation of the Passover
Meal begins after dawn during the fourteenth day of the first month
(Abib 14th). Josephus records that during the first century, the
Passover Lambs were slaughtered "from the ninth hour (since Dawn) till
the eleventh" (Book 6, chapter 9, section 3), which corresponds closely
to our 3:00-5:00 pm, which still allowed time for roasting over fire at
the TEMPLE in Jerusalem (See Luke 23:44 below).

From Earth, a solar eclipse can only occur when
the New Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth, and the New Moon
fully or partially covers the Sun. This could never naturally occur
during a "Full Moon" Feast Day. Therefore, this is not a "Solar
Eclipse". Probably heavy cloud cover and or even heavy smoke from a
multitude (thousands) of roasting fires that were just being kindled to
ultimately provide hot coals for roasting. Messiah was nailed on the
torture stake, during "The Preparation Day"; literally "In Like Manner"
as the "Sacrificial Lambs" were, also, being "Prepared"; as a perfect
"Physical to Spiritual Parallel" for Sacrifice.
Yahuah commanded
that each man bring his own Passover Lamb without spot or blemish. That
individual lamb was to be sacrificed in the Temple on the 14th in
preparation for the upcoming High Sabbath of The Feast of Unleavened
Bread. Each household was to take the lamb they offered (on the Altar in
the Temple, then cooked on an open fire) home to eat it to celebrate the
beginning of The Feast of Unleavened Bread.
In The Yahushaic Covenant, we are to understand
the spiritual application of this physical rehearsal and apply it to the
beginning of Passover (with The Chaggigah and then the Preparation Day).
Offering “physical lambs” was a shadow, a teaching tool that has passed
away, we missed the point in The Mosaic Covenant:

This type of sacrifice is “symbolized” each year

as Yahusha did. Yahusha’s example was not his physical death, but rather
his reverent submission to the Will of Yahuah and we are to obey that
example:

Once we have honored Yahusha’s role and the
meaning of Passover at the Chaggigah (at the end of the 13th of Abib to
begin the 14th of Abib), we then prepare our bodies through Mikveh and
washing of feet. We look inwardly at our lives to identify sin
(leaven/spot/blemish), then we offer that “broken sinful body” to Yahuah
on His Altar on the preparation day (Passover day). Then at the close of
the 14th of Abib…we eat the Passover dinner (symbolized by eating lamb)
to begin The Feast of Unleavened Bread. This is done at home with our
families to celebrate the Millennial Kingdom. We eat the lamb (which
symbolizes the death of our flesh) and unleavened bread (to symbolize
our resurrected bodies in that kingdom).
(late Abib 14th & early Abib 15th) The
resurrected perfect body
The Passover occurs (at or near sunset)
immediately prior to the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (UB
occurs at Dusk), and (UB) is both a High Holy Annual Sabbath and a Holy
Convocation because it symbolizes the “rest” in the Millennial Kingdom.
We see Sha'ul teach the transposition of this feast from physical to

It should be remembered that prior to dusk (prior
to UB) "Leavened Bread" (Artos) may be eaten, however, once the
"Sacrificial Lamb symbolic of each or our own bodies offered as living
sacrifices without spot or blemish" is served, then the Passover Meal
(evening of or close of Abib 14th) is eaten with unleavened bread then
once dusk occurs all leavened bread not already consumed must be burned
right away. This is to symbolize that during the Kingdom Reign, there
will be no sin.
The "Passover" meal (now without leavened bread)
may continue well into the night (after Dusk), but the meal must end
prior to dawn and in plenty of time to burn any leftover lamb and or
discovered uneaten leaven (crumbs, etc.). This act of purging “leaven”
is symbolic of the purging of all “sinners” from Earth prior to the
establishment of The Kingdom of Yahuah on Earth.

Keep the following in mind:
* No leavened bread must be eaten
once dusk has occurred until after the Feast of Unleavened Bread is
complete (seven full nights and seven full daylight periods later).
* Under no circumstances must the Passover Preparation Day ever be
allowed to occur on a Seventh Day Shabbat. Any food or sacrifice that
would normally be prepared during the Preparation Days (the daylight
hours prior to Passover and UB) that occasionally falls on a weekly
Shabbat must be moved up one day earlier.
* Moreover, whenever a
fire will be needed for burning leavening or leftover sacrifice (IF UB
begins on a 7th day Shabbat), then that fire must be kindled prior to
the beginning of Shabbat, and that fire must be maintained for as long
as it is needed to burn the uneaten sacrifice and leaven. This burning
(fire) must never extend into the dawn (morning twilight) of Abib 15th
because it is symbolic of Yahuah’s wrath. This burning fire is symbolic
of The Word of Yahuah which consumes all those who are disobedient i.e.
sinners PRIOR to the Millennial Kingdom:
-----𝑱𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒂𝒉
5:14-----
"Bᴇᴄᴀᴜsᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ʜᴀᴠᴇ sᴘᴏᴋᴇɴ ᴛʜɪs ᴡᴏʀᴅ, Bᴇʜᴏʟᴅ, I ᴀᴍ ᴍᴀᴋɪɴɢ

ᴄᴏɴsᴜᴍᴇ ᴛʜᴇᴍ.
This consuming wrath of Yahuah ends as we enter
His Kingdom, and all sinners (leaven) has been purged. Therefore, the
restriction on “kindling a fire” on Sabbath which are weekly rehearsals
of the coming Kingdom.
