In an effort to abolish The Law; The Book of
Romans along with the rest of Sha’ul’s letters were intentionally
mistranslated by the Greeks to make it “appear” as if Sha’ul taught
against The Law.
2
Peter 3
Sha'ul writes the same way in The Mystery Language in all his
letters, speaking in letters of these matters. His letters contain
some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable
people (Greeks) twist, as they do
the other Scriptures (they twist every
other book and author's writings too), to their own
destruction.
In
all of Sha’ul’s writings but especially Romans and Galatians the
translators failed to distinguish when Sha’ul was talking about “the Law
of the land” and when Sha’ul was referring to
The Law of Yahuah!
Below I summarized from my book The Law and
the Pauline Doctrine where I discredit The Pauline Doctrine of
the Christian Church point by point.
The “Law of the land” (in
Sha’ul’s day) was the oral traditions of the Pharisees, the same
foundation of Rabbinical Judaism today. The 6,200 page Babylonian
Talmud. When Sha’ul was speaking against oral tradition, he would just
use the word “nomos”. The word
“nomos” or just “law” is any
law whatsoever or the
law of the land.
Nomoß
- Strong's Number: 3551
anything
established, anything received by usage, a custom, a law, a
command, of any law whatsoever
|
When speaking of
The Law of Yahuah, the Apostle Sha’ul used the Greek phrase “ho
nomos”. We see above that “nomos” without the article “ho” is not
referring specifically to
The Law of Yahuah,
but to “any law whatsoever” or law of the land which was the traditions
of the Pharisees in first century Israel.
This vital distinction was not translated
properly in our English Bibles leading to what is called The Pauline
Doctrine. Therefore, many times when Sha’ul is speaking against the
Takkanots (man-made commands)
or Talmud (oral traditions),
it is mistranslated as
The Law
instead of
“law of the land” and we are taught he is speaking against
The Law of Yahuah. When
in fact he was speaking against human laws and commands of that day the
same way Yahusha confronted the Pharisees. The translators literally
went in and added the article “ho” in front of every instance of “nomos”
when speaking of the law of the land, twisting the meaning of the text.
Romans chapter 3 is a prime example of twisting
Scripture and bearing false witness against the Apostle Sha’ul (by
the Greek inspired Christian Church).
In the verses below Sha’ul did not use the article “the” where I
underline it; “the” was added by pagan translators and not
indicated with italics in our
English Bibles (as all added words are supposed to be indicated) to
do away with The Law:
Romans 3:20
20 Therefore by the works of
The (“the”
was added) Law (any law whatsoever)
there shall no flesh be justified in Yahuah’s sight: for by The Law
(ho nomos) is the knowledge of sin.
21 But now the
Righteousness of Yahuah without
The (“the”
was added) Law (any law whatsoever)
is manifested (in
The Law).
Based on these verses and others in Sha’ul’s
letters we have been taught in our churches that there is no need to
keep The Law of Yahuah; that Righteousness is manifested outside of The
Law of Yahuah. We see IN
CONTEXT that cannot be the proper interpretation because in this same
letter Sha’ul said:
Romans 2
13 for not the hearers of The
Law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of The Law
will be justified and declared Righteous.
Above the article “ho” (‘the’ in English) was not
added. Based this one area of mistranslation combined with context of
all Sha’ul’s writings: Sha’ul actually said:
Romans 3:20
20 Therefore by works of
law (any law whatsoever, tradition,
human commands) there shall no flesh be justified in Yahuah’s
sight: for it is by THE LAW that we have knowledge of sin (Sha’ul
is explaining the function of
The Law).
21 But now the
Righteousness of Yahuah (The Law of Yahuah
Romans 7:12)
that is separate from (human)
law is revealed.
Romans 7:12
Therefore The
Law is Holy, and the Commandments are Holy, and Just, and Righteous.
This
error in translation is found throughout the Book of Romans. This error
is corrected in this book giving us a true picture of what Sha’ul
taught. Let me cover some of these areas found in the current modern
translations.
In more than half of the passage in the NT where
Sha’ul speaks of “law” he does not use the article “the”.
The phrase “works of law” is vastly different than the phrase
“works of The Law”. Let
me put Romans 3 back into context of the rest of the book of
Romans. I will correct this vital error in translation demonstrating the
true meaning:
Romans 5
20
Moreover
The Law (ho
nomos) entered (our hearts as
Yahuah promised) that the offense (of
transgressing it) might abound (in
our mind creating a need in us for us to repent and seek out our
savior).
Romans 3
20 Therefore by works of
any human law or tradition whatsoever (nomos)
there shall no flesh be justified in Yahuah’s sight: (however
it is) for by THE LAW of Yahuah (ho
nomos) that we have the knowledge of sin (Romans
5:20).21 But
now the Righteousness of Yahuah without (any
human) law is revealed (in The
Law of Yahuah,
Romans 7:12).
(Yahusha) being (the
Messiah is) witnessed by The Law and the Prophets (Sha’ul
is stressing the value of The Law as it gives Yahusha the authority
to be The Messiah);
22 Even the Righteousness of Yahuah which is by Faith in (The
Law and the Prophets which witness of) Yahusha the Messiah
unto all and upon all them that believe (that
Yahusha was the fulfillment of the witness of the stars, The Law and
The Prophets): for there is no difference: 23 For all have
sinned, and come short of the Glory of Yahuah (requiring
the blood of the Lamb to cover that sin defined in The Law of Yahuah
only); 24 Being
justified freely by Yahuah’s Grace (covering
the death decrees in The Law with the blood of the Passover Lamb)
through the redemption that is in the blood of Yahusha the Messiah:
25 Whom Yahuah hath set forth (in The Law
not any human law) to be a an appeasing sacrifice through
Faith in his blood, to declare Yahusha’s Righteousness in keeping
The Law fully for the remission of our sins that are past,
through the forbearance of Yahuah who accepts Yahusha’s obedience (to
The Law) as if it were our own (by
covering the Death Decrees we are brought into total compliance of
The Law); 26 To declare, I say, at this time Yahusha’s
Righteousness (in keeping The Law):
that Yahuah might be just (in not issuing
the final death decree against us), and the justifier of him
which believes in (covenant with)
Yahusha. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded (because
Yahuah has accepted Yahusha’s obedience to The Law in place of our
own). By what (human) law (nomos)?
of (what) works (in
obedience to human commands that we
have done can we claim justification)? None: but by The Law
of Faith (in the Passover Lamb our sin is
covered and we are justified by The Law). 28 Therefore we
conclude that a man is justified by Faith (that
Yahusha fulfilled Yahuah’s Promise of a Passover Lamb)
without the words of any (human)
law whatsoever (nomos).
29 Is Yahuah the God of the Jews (The
House of Judah) only? is he not also (the
God) of the (Lost Sheep of the
House of Israel scattered among the) Gentiles? Yes, of the
Gentiles also: 30 Seeing it is
one God (Sha’ul
declares The Shema), which shall justify the circumcision by
faith (in Yahusha as The Passover Lamb),
and uncircumcision through Faith (in
Yahusha as The Passover Lamb). 31 Do we then abolish
The Law (ho
nomos) through Faith? God forbid (the
Passover Lamb Promise is found in The Law, if you abolish The
Law you abolish the Promise of Salvation through the Passover Lamb
with it). The Law
of Yahuah is not abolished through Faith, The Law (ho
nomos) of Yahuah is established through Faith (in
Yahusha as we then walk as he walked in obedience to The Law
keeping Passover in Faith to keep the memory of his sacrifice alive,
1 Corinthians 5).
Romans 2:13
13For it
is not those who hear The Law (ho
nomos) who are Righteous in Yahuah's sight,
but it is those who Obey The Law who will be declared Righteous.
Romans 6:16
Do you not know that to whom you present
yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey,
whether of sin (not keeping The Law)
leading to death, or of obedience (to
The Law) leading to Righteousness?
Romans 6:19
I am speaking in
simple terms because of the frailty of your human nature (Satan).
Just as you once offered the parts of your body as slaves to
impurity and to greater and greater
disobedience (to
The Law), so now, in the same way, you must offer the parts
of your body as slaves to Righteousness (which
is keeping The Law) that
leads to Sanctification.
What Sha’ul is teaching in Romans is this (when
taken in full context):
We first have Faith (in The Law)
that Yahusha was the fulfillment of Passover. We then we begin the
process of sanctification, which is a
process of becoming
“holy” (set apart) by Yahuah
through obedience to the
Spiritual Intent of His Law.
As we progress on to perfection through
sanctification (obedience to The Law of Yahuah not just
any human law, custom, or tradition); we are filled with the Spirit of
loving obedience to intent of His Instructions. This is how The Law is
“written on our hearts” not in stone.
Ezekiel 36: 26, 27
I will
give you a new heart (intent for My Law
and write My Law on it,
Jeremiah 31) and put a new Spirit (of
loving obedience with knowledge of intent over letter) in
you; I will remove from you your heart of stone (legalistic
observance of The Law by the letter without love) and give
you a heart of flesh (loving intent).
And I will put My Spirit in you and move you to follow (the
loving intent of) My Decrees and be careful to keep (the
loving intent of) My Laws
Below are clear statements made by Sha’ul in
Romans confirming The Law in
The Yahushaic Covenant.
Sha’ul says that the doers of The Law will be
justified, and those who break it will be judged.
The word that is translated below "without
Law" here is, Strong’s word #460, which means "not
amenable to The Law of Yahuah". (See Thayer’s and Strong's lexicon).
Romans 2:12
For as many as
have sinned without law (nomos, manmade
laws) will also perish without law (nomos;
because only in The Law of Yahuah is Salvation promised), and
as many as have sinned under The Law (ho
nomos) will be judged by The (death
decrees in the) Law (because they
did not accept Yahusha’s Passover sacrifice and keep Passover)
13 for not the hearers of The Law (ho
nomos) are just in the sight of Yahuah, but the doers of The
Law (ho nomos) will be justified.
Romans 2:17
Indeed you are
called a Jew, and rest on The Law, and make your boast in Yahuah, 18
and know [His] will, and approve the things that are excellent,
being instructed out of The Law, 19 and are confident that you
yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in
darkness, 20 an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes,
having the (true) form of Knowledge
and truth (which is found) in The
Law.
Romans 2:21
You, therefore,
who teach another (The Law), do you
not teach (that same Law of Yahuah to)
yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal?
22 You who say, "Do not commit adultery," do you commit adultery?
You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? 23 You who make your boast
in The Law, do you dishonor Yahuah through breaking The Law? 24 For
"the name of Yahuah is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of
you," as it is written (in His Torah).
Romans 3:20
Therefore by the
deeds of (human) law (nomos),
no flesh will be justified in His sight, for it is by The Law of
Yahuah that the knowledge of sin (is
defined).
Romans 7:7
What shall we say
then? [Is] The Law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not
have known sin except through (obedience
to) The Law of Yahuah. For I would not have known
covetousness unless The Law had said, "You shall not covet."
Romans 3:31
Do we then make
void The Law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we cause
and make stand, we establish The Law (because
Faith is defined as belief in the Promises made by Yahuah, which are
found in The Torah).
Romans 6:15
What then? Shall
we sin (break The Law) because we
are not under (the death decrees of the)
Law, but under Grace (because the decrees
have been covered by the blood of the Lamb)? Certainly not!
16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to
obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin (breaking
The Law leading) to death, or of obedience (to
the letter of The Law leading) to Righteousness (obedience
to the Loving Intent of The Law)?
Romans 7:12
Therefore The Law [is] Holy, and the Commandment Holy and
Just and Righteous.
Romans 7:14
For we know that
The Law is Spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Romans 7:22
For I delight in
The Law of Yahuah according to the inward man.
2 Timothy 3
16 All Scripture
is (The Heavenly Scroll/The Law/Torah)
given by inspiration of Yahuah, and is profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in Righteousness, 17 that
the man of Yahuah may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every
good work.
Romans 8:6-7
For to be
carnally (literal) minded is death,
but to be Spiritually (intent)
minded (The Law is Spiritual Romans, 7:14)
is life and peace. Because the carnal (literal)
mind (not The Law) is enmity
against Yahuah; for it is not subject to The Law of Yahuah, nor
indeed can be.
It should be obvious by now that the Apostle
Sha’ul taught that keeping The Law is the path to justification and
Righteousness. The
Apostle Sha’ul did not start a new lawless religion called
“Christianity”. When
Sha’ul’s letters are brought into context of each other… Sha’ul agrees
with every other writer in the New Testament concerning the role of The
Law in our lives and within
The Yahushaic Covenant.
