The realm governed by the
Kingdom of Yahuah is all of His Creation i.e. the Universe. This Spiritual
Truth was progressively disclosed over time through all 7 Covenants:
The “realm” was very small,
defined as the Garden of Eden.
Genesis
2
15 Yahuah Elohim took the man and put him in the
Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it (govern
the Garden of Eden). 16 And Yahuah our Elohim commanded the man (the Law of Yahuah
introduced), “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil (command), for when
you eat from it you will certainly die (death decree).”
(the Law of Sin and Death introduced)
After failing to properly
govern the Garden of Eden by the “Commandments of Yahuah”, the realm at that
time was scaled down to a family unit. Adam and Eve were “relieved” of
their authority to govern any specific “realm” outside of learning to govern
their own lives. Adam, however, did display the kind of “love” required to
govern. He displayed that love toward his wife Eve. Adam, knowing that he would
die for disobeying Yahuah, chose to “identify” with Eve in eating the “apple”
literally giving his life for Eve.
We learn that Adam’s dominion,
as a result, was limited to that which he demonstrated love enough to die for…
his own family! Foreshadowing the love Yahusha must demonstrate by dying for
his brothers/sisters:
Genesis
3
16 To the woman he said, “I will make your pains in
childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children.
Your desire will be to rule over your husband, but he will (be required to) rule over you.”
So Adams “rule” was limited
then to that of himself and his family because Adam failed to govern the Garden
by the Righteous Law of Yahuah. Yahuah revealed that those who don’t “keep the
Law of Yahuah” will not receive eternal life but “since from the ground you were taken; for dust you are and
to dust you will return”. Those disobedient to the Law of Yahuah
die… they do not govern. That which Adam was intended to “take care of” was
instead cursed because of his failure to properly govern it. Adam now became a
“slave” to the very realm he was intended to rule over and that realm cursed as
a result.
Genesis
3
17 To Adam he (Yahuah)
said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about
which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ “Cursed is the ground
because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the
days of your life. 18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you and you
will eat the plants of the field. 19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until
you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to
dust you will return.”
In effect, man was given a
taste of the consequences of utterly failing to govern by the Law of Yahuah
(even as limited as man’s knowledge of the Law was at that time in the process
of Progressive Revelation). Man would have to “earn” his right to rule by
first serving that which he is to govern. the Sabbath Covenant
was now in full effect, for 6,000 years man would have to “work” before he would
be given rest and restored to his position of authority. Man would be trained
to learn what it means to “govern properly” and that you first must SERVE and (if
necessary) DIE for that which you govern.
This was an early shadow
picture of the coming Messiah/King. Like all the rest of the sons of Yahuah, Yahusha
too would have to come first as “the Suffering Servant” during
the 6,000-year period and serve before he could reign.
Galatians
4:1-7
1 Now I say,
That the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a servant, though
he be master of all
Yahusha would be required to
serve Yahuah’s creation and future sons and earn his position as King
over them before he could govern. Yahusha would have to prove he was
worthy to rule them by being willing to die for them
first (just like Adam was willing to die for Eve). Only upon Yahusha’s death,
as he identified with the sins of the world, was Yahusha resurrected and made
proxy King at the right hand of Yahuah.
There is no greater love than
a man being willing to die for another man. True authority is based on that
kind of love! A righteous ruler must love his “realm” enough to die for it. Yahusha
had to demonstrate his ability to keep the Law of Yahuah before
he could be crowned King. It would not be until the fulfillment of the
Sabbath Covenant when it was time for the curse of Adam to be lifted
that Yahusha would return as “the Conquering King” and establish the
Kingdom of Yahuah.
In the Abrahamic
Covenant, the “realm” was extended beyond just the immediate family to
a genetic bloodline that would run through Abraham/Isaac/Jacob and extend to
Jacob’s 12 sons. These 12 sons would evolve into 12 Tribes and would be known
by the name Israel.
We see below that the
Abrahamic Covenant has not been “abolished”. Far from it; it is an everlasting
covenant and it is from within this bloodline that a small remnant would be
chosen to be sons of Yahuah called Remnant Israel. I will cover
that in more detail when I discuss the Citizens of the Kingdom of Yahuah.
We see the Land of Canaan promised to the descendants of Abraham; it wouldn’t
be until later in the Mosaic Covenant that this promise is
realized.
Genesis 17
3 Abram fell facedown, and Yahuah said to him, 4 “As for me,
this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations. 5 No longer will you be called Abram; your name
will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations. 6 I will make you very fruitful; I will make
nations of you, and kings will come from you. 7
I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me
and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your Elohim
and the Elohim of your descendants after you. 8 The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside
as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession (Land of Canaan is a physical shadow of the Universe i.e. physical
to spiritual parallel) to you and your descendants after you;
and I will be their Elohim.”
9 Then Yahuah said to Abraham, “As for you, you must
keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to
come. 10
This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant
you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised. 11 You are to undergo circumcision, and it will
be the sign of the covenant between me and you (physical
circumcision is a shadow of circumcision of the heart; physical to
spiritual parallel).
Note:
Physical
circumcision was the commitment to keep the letter of the Law of Yahuah and all
the physical rituals/rehearsals etc. Spiritual circumcision is having a “heart
for His Law” and seeking the spiritual intent of the Law and the spiritual
truths of the physical moedim/rehearsals and rituals.
In the Mosaic Covenant,
the “realm” that the 12 Tribes of Israel would govern was given clearly defined
borders known as the Land of Canaan or the Promised Land.
What is interesting to note
here, is that Moses (who represented the transposition from oral tradition to
the written law) was not allowed to lead the children of Israel into the
Promised Land of Canaan. As a “Physical Shadow” of the later Spiritual Truth
to follow, it was “Yahusha sun of Nun” that took the mantle of Moses and leads
the children of Israel into the Promised Land of Canaan. Foreshadowing the coming
Messiah with the same name, Yahusha, who would transpose the “Written Law” in the
Mosaic Covenant to the Spiritual Fullness of “Written on our Hearts”
and lead us into the Spiritual Kingdom of Yahuah (physical to spiritual
parallels).
Joshua
1:1-6
1 After the death of Moses the servant of Yahuah, Yahuah
said to Yahusha son of Nun, Moses’ aide: 2 “Moses my servant is dead. Now
then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the
land I am about to give to them—to the Israelites. 3 I will give you every place where you set your
foot, as I promised Moses. 4 Your
territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the
Euphrates—all the Hittite country—to the Mediterranean Sea in the west.
5 No one will be able to stand against you
all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will
never leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be
strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the
land I swore to their ancestors to give them.
Yahuah also introduces the
concept of “inheritance to His sons” through progressive revelation in verse 6
above.
It is also worthy of note
that it was not until AFTER Yahuah fully disclosed His Law in writing (the
governing constitution) that Yahuah then allowed His chosen to enter the
Promised Land. The Written Law was the governing constitution of the physical
Promised Land (physical to spiritual parallel).
The Davidic Covenant builds
on all previous covenants as Yahuah:
·
Established a physical righteous
King to serve as an example of the coming Spiritual King (Physical to
spiritual parallels).
·
It was established that the Throne
of David would be the throne and bloodline through which the Messiah and King
would come to govern His Kingdom for eternity.
·
Yahuah established His Throne,
Capital City, Temple, and Altar in detail physically as Physical to
spiritual parallels.
In the Yahushaic Covenant,
the shadow picture of the Promised Land of Canaan known as the land of Israel
was “fulfilled” Spiritually in two stages:
1.
First the Sabbath Covenant
would be fulfilled and creation would enter a period of “rest” for a 1,000
years. The “realm” of the Kingdom of Yahuah would be limited to
planet Earth in order to properly train the sons of Yahuah to govern within
that Kingdom.
Revelation 5:10
10 And hast made us unto our Elohim kings and priests:
and we shall reign on the earth.
Revelation 20:6
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first
resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests
of Yahuah (Elohim) and of the Messiah (King), and shall reign with him (the King Yahusha) a thousand years.
2.
Once the 1,000-year training
period for His sons to learn their place in His government and rest for creation
was complete, the final “realm” of the Kingdom of Yahuah would be
expanded to all of Yahuah’s Creation (the Universe).
Revelation 22:5
5 And there (the final
fulfillment of the Realm) shall be no night there; and they need no
candle, neither light of the sun; for Yahuah gives them light: and they shall
reign forever and ever.
The Yahushaic Covenant did not “replace” the other covenants in defining the
“realm”. The Yahushaic Covenant “fulfilled” them in their fullest
Spiritual Reality.
Our (the sons of Yahuah)
primary responsibility to Yahuah has always been to serve Him as Priest/Kings
of our home first. Then, once we have our house in order, our authority
extends out to the community, province, and beyond until the Universe is
properly governed in righteousness. I will cover the Yahushaic Covenant
in full detail in my next book.
We have seen the “realm” of the
Kingdom of Yahuah progressively disclosed through the covenants in the
Bible. Each covenant valid and active in the Yahushaic Covenant
as the 7th and final covenant Yahuah made with man is the renewing
of all previous 6 and bringing them to their “fulfillment” Spiritually.
