2 CORINTHIANS 5:21- THE TRUTH …
The Messiah’s state of sin vs. Righteousness…
Was he sin free and perfect, a “God” … or was he a sinful man who was perfected
in obedience?
From my book
“The Yahushaic Covenant Volume 1: The Mediator”
2 Corinthians 5:21
21 For our sake Yahuah made Yahusha (a perfected High Priest) to be (a) sin (offering) who
knew no sin (?), so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Now… the “big one”, the sound bite implied mistranslated lie
that is the one sound bite the entire doctrine of “Yahusha was sin free from
birth and punished for OUR sin” is based on… even though it contradicts the
Plan of Salvation and explicit Scriptures that say Yahusha came in the flesh,
his flesh was sinful, and he was forgiven his sin through Mikveh walking The
Way… and was perfected through sanctification. For proof that Yahusha
must have sinned to fulfill The Plan of Salvation and show us The Way read my
article below:
•
The Doctrine of Righteousness… Part
1: “The Way”
The Bible says that all men, born according to the flesh,
have sinned and fallen short:
Romans 3
for ALL men have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God
The definition of “born according to the flesh” is born by
normal human means, outside any Divine Influence, prone to sin, and opposed to
Yahuah.
flesh 'Sarki' g4561: Thayer's def =#4 - born to two human parents, outside ANY Divine Influence,
prone to sin, and opposed to Yahuah
So Yahusha “came in the
flesh” and was not a demi-god or “God in the flesh”! He was created human of
natural origin, to two human parents outside of any “divine seed” or even
“divine influence”. Yahusha was born just like us fully human in EVERY WAY
according to the flesh. Opposed to Yahuah and had to learn obedience and
be perfected and he BECAME the perfect sacrifice by submitting his life to
the process of sanctification and walking The Way. 2 Corinthians 5:21 is “THE” Scripture used by the Dragon to
imply the Plan of Salvation hinges on Yahusha being a perfect demi-god from
birth and that his sacrifice is effective ONLY because he was perfect and he
was killed for our sin.
Yahusha was not held to account for our sin that is a
violation of The Law of Yahuah.
Ezekiel 18:20
The one who sins is the one who will die.
The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the
guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to
them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.
Matthew 16:27
For the Son of Man will come in His
Father's glory with His angels, and then He will repay each one according to
what he has done.
Romans 2:6
Elohim "will repay each one according
to his deeds."
Deuteronomy 24:16
"Fathers shall not be put to death for
their sons, nor shall sons be put to death for their fathers; everyone shall be
put to death for his own sin.
Isaiah 3
Say to the righteous that it will go well
with them, For they will eat the fruit of their actions. 4 Woe to the wicked!
It will go badly with him, For what he deserves will be done to him.
Jeremiah 31:30
"But everyone will die for his own
iniquity; each man who eats the sour grapes, his teeth will be set on edge.
Yahuah does not break His Own Law and sin!
Psalm 89:34
I will not violate my covenant or alter what
my lips have uttered.
I am going to correct this translation with the true meaning
of the text, put it into context, and show what it really means and demonstrate
the translators intentionally twisted the Scriptures to blaspheme Yahuah and
lead us astray from The Way.
The
Truth in Context
The Definition of “sin”: Disobedience to Yahuah’s Will.
The Definition of the word translated “to know no” in 2 Corinthians 5:21 is “to
learn to know“
Thayer's Greek: 1097.
γινώσκω (ginóskó) – Primary definition: 1. to learn to know.
So the actual true translation is not “to know no” but rather “did not
learn to know” which brings the Scriptures into harmony with no contradictions
(and corrects our error concerning Yahusha’s state of sin/righteousness).
So before we go any further, here is the REAL translation of
the verse we sound bite and imply Yahusha was sin free from birth, a perfect
from birth demi-god:
2 Corinthians 5:21
For our sake (to be
mediator 1 Timothy 2:5) Yahuah made Yahusha (a High Priest Hebrews 5 and Zechariah 3)
who did not learn to know (G1097)
disobedience (but learned obedience Hebrews 5:8-9),
to be a sin offering for us (Romans 8:3),
so that in covenant him, we too might have the Righteous Requirements of the
Law fulfilled in us (Romans 8:4).
Sha’ul is teaching the exact same thing here as he did in
Romans below:
Romans 8
3 For what the Law was powerless to do (make us Righteous) in that The Law was weakened by
the sinful flesh (held accountable to the death
decrees in The Law), Yahuah did (covered the
death decrees and forgave our iniquity and remembered our sin no more)
by sending His own (first born-again) son in
the likeness of sinful flesh (flesh 'Sarki' g4561:
Thayer's def =#4 - born to two human parents, outside ANY Divine Influence,
prone to sin, and opposed to Yahuah), as an offering for sin (to prove The Way works as he was perfected and forgiven).
He thus condemned sin in the flesh (by walking The Way
of perfection and dying innocent in the eyes of Yahuah), 4 so that the
righteous standard of the Law might be fulfilled in us (too who walk The Way of Mikveh to "fulfill all Righteousness").
Yahusha was not born perfect or obedient, but he did not
“learn disobedience” he learned OBEDIENCE by suffering discipline for his
disobedience as a son. He was not born a perfect from birth demi-god, but had
to be PERFECTED in Righteous obedience to Yahuah.
Hebrews 5
7 During the days of Yahusha’s life on earth
(when he was imperfect, disobedient and LEARNING
obedience Hebrews 5:8-9), he offered up prayers and petitions (repentance) with fervent cries and tears to the one
who could save him from death (the penalty of
sin/disobedience and he was scared to death to die Matthew 36:28),
and he was heard because of his reverent submission to Yahuah (he walked The Way!). 8 though he was a son, yet he LEARNED
(G1097) OBEDIENCE (was not born obedient but "in the flesh" apposed
to Yahuah 'sarki') by the things (discipline by
a loving Father Hebrews 12:5-7) which he suffered (for disobedience). 9 And HAVING BEEN PERFECTED (through the process of sanctification John 17:19… he
was not born that way, he was born disobedient and opposed to Yahuah which is
the definition of “in the flesh” Sarki), He BECAME the author (life example and Spotless Passover Lamb) of (how we obtain) eternal salvation to all who obey him
(and follow his example and give their lives as Living
Spotless Sacrificial Lambs Romans 12:1).
So what Sha’ul actually said in 2 Corinthians 5 is exactly
what he said in Romans, Hebrews and the rest of his writings! If we don’t leave
off the context of all of Sha’uls writings, we see again that it was as High
Priest that Yahusha did not sin!
Hebrews 4
14 Therefore, since we have such a great HIGH
PRIEST who has passed through the heavens (passed the
test of The Heavenly Scroll), Yahusha the first born again Son of
Yahuah, let us hold firmly to what we profess. 15 For we do not have a HIGH
PRIEST who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses (because he was some kind of perfect demi-god), but we have A HIGH
PRIEST who was tempted in every way that we are, yet was without sin (as High Priest see Zechariah Chapter 3).
AFTER he had been perfected in Righteous Obedience through
suffering and Yahuah forgave his sin through Mikveh…
Zechariah Chapter 3
3 Now Yahusha was dressed in filthy clothes (metaphor of sin) as he stood before the angel. 4 The
angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy
clothes.” Then YHVH said to Yahusha, “See (after
taking off his filthy rags), I have taken away your sin (fifthly rags Isaiah 64:6), and I will put fine
garments (of the High Priest) on you.”
Yahusha’s sin was forgiven as he learned obedience by
suffering discipline through sanctification, then he became High Priest when
his sin was washed away with Living Water and Yahuah fulfilled His Promise to ‘forgave
his iniquity and remembered his sin no more‘ and THEN he was without sin…
and became the PERFECTED sacrifice or “sin offering” which means he offered his
life as an example for all of us to follow.
Yahusha’s example is the True Way that leads to Eternal
Life.
John 14:6
6 Yahusha answered, “I am (my example is) the way and (my
example is) the truth and (my example is)
the (way to eternal) life. No one comes to the
Father except through me (following my example in
covenant with me as High Priest to mediate and atone).
John 17:3
Now this is eternal life: that they know
you (Yahuah), the only true God, and (come to You through) Yahusha who is the Messiah, whom
you have sent (in fulfillment of Your promises as
foretold through the prophets to be the Mediator and show us The Way of
adoption).
1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one true God (Yahuah) and one mediator between Yahuah and mankind, the
man Yahusha the Messiah (our brother and High Priest).
John 1:2
…5 But if anyone keeps His word (follows The Way), the love of Yahuah has been truly
perfected in him (we are perfected through
sanctification fulfill the Righteous Requirements of The Law through Mikveh).
By this we know that we are in (covenant with)
Yahusha: 6 Whoever claims to abide in (covenant with)
Him must walk as Yahusha walked (follow his example).
John 13:15
15 I have set you an example so that you
should do as I have done for you (he was washing their
feet with Living Water as a metaphor that they should walk as he walked... The
Way).
Attached is the interlinear showing the word “knew no” is
G1097 and mistranslated… and then the Thayer’s primary definition is “lean to
know” NOT “knew no”

Rav Sha’ul (the Nazarene)
