MATTHEW 3:16-17 – A DOVE? A VOICE FROM “HEAVEN”?!?!
From the book The Narrow Gate by Rav Sha’ul
Matthew 3
16 As soon as Yahusha was baptized, he went
up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of
Yahuah descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven
said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!”…
What is the Scriptures telling us in this passage? Did a
physical Dove truly descend down and sit on Yahusha’s shoulders? Did an audible
voice really come down out of the sky and proclaim Yahusha was the son of
Yahuah?
The
Mystery Language
The Scriptures are encoded in what is called The Mystery
Language. Many times we fall into false doctrines taking literally what is
written metaphorically though riddles, parallels, idioms, parables, and figures
of speech. Yahusha made this clear, the reason the Scriptures are written in
the Mystery Language is for that very reason… it is not given to the masses to
just pick up the Bible and understand The Plan of Salvation! You must have The
Ruach to decipher the Scriptures as they are Spiritually discerned!
Matthew 13
10 The disciples came to him and asked, ‘Why
do you speak to the people in parables?’ 11 He replied, ‘Because the knowledge
of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.
12 Whoever has (the Spirit of Holiness) will be
given (speaking of a future date when Yahuah pour out
His Spirit) more (hidden knowledge), and
they will have an abundance (of Spiritual understanding).
Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 13 This is
why I speak to them in parables.
Sha’ul explain this same concept:
1 Corinthians 2:4-15
4 And my speech and my preaching was not with
enticing words of man's wisdom (Sha'ul and Yahusha did
not speak in literal terms), but in the demonstration of the Spirit of
Holiness and of power (which gives us understanding of
hidden things): 5 That your faith should not stand in the (literal) wisdom of men (to
be taken literally), but in the power of Yahuah (In a Mystery Language taught only by The Holy Spirit to a chosen few).
6 However we (Yahuah’s Chosen Few) speak wisdom
(Spiritual Understanding) among them that are
perfect (perfected by The Spirit of Holiness):
yet not the wisdom (literal / pagan / natural
understanding) of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that
come to nothing (they do not understand The Bible
language): 7 But we (Yahuah’s Chosen Few)
speak the wisdom of Yahuah in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which (this Mystery Language) Yahuah ordained before the
world (revealed in The Heavenly Scroll) unto
our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew (the hidden mystery language of Yahuah that His Word is
written in): for had they known it (this
Mystery Language, the meaning of The Heavenly Scroll), they would not
have crucified the King of glory (on Passover, because
that is what The Stars Proclaim Psalm 19).
Above Sha’ul explains that the “mystery” is revealed in The
Heavenly Scroll “before the foundation of the world” and it is our lack of
understanding The Heavenly Scroll that leads to error.

The
Mystery Revealed!
So, what is Yahuah speaking to us in Matthew 3:16-17? Below
is the Mystery Language revealed and the true interpretation of this verse, as
not everyone witnessed this… “he saw” meaning John was given a revelation!
Matthew 3:16-17
As soon as Yahusha was Mikveh’d, he came up
out of the Living Water. At that moment, (now the rest
of this is metaphorically speaking g3708)
The Heavenly Scroll was opened (Revelation 4:1),
an “he saw a VISION of” (g3708metaphorically speaking “in his mind”), the
Ruach “being given to Yahusha” (g2064).
17 And he perceived in his mind (g3708)
a SHOFAR BLAST (g5456Yahuah’s voice is seen coming out of The Heavenly Scroll as
a loud Shofar Blast Revelation 4:1) coming (down) from The Heavenly Scroll and (the stars) proclaimed (the
Glory of Yahuah Psalm 19, who is Yahusha Hebrews 1:3), “This
is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased! (confirming
that Yahusha is the fulfillment of The Heavenly Scroll)”
The word translated “he saw” is:
g3708 horáō
properly,
see, often with metaphorical meaning: "to see with the mind" (i.e.
spiritually see), i.e. perceive (with inward spiritual perception).
The word traditionally translated “rested on” or “descended”
is properly “given” in context of Yahuah giving His Ruach:
g2064 erchomai
arrival
(1), arrived (1), brought (1), came (225), come (222), comes (64), coming (87),
entered (2), expected (3), fall (2), falls (1), *****
GIVE ****(1), go (1), going (2),
grown (1), lighting (1), next (1), turned (1), went (18).
The word translated “proclaimed, say” is:
g3004 légō
"laying
an argument to rest," i.e. bringing a message to closure
The word translated “voice” should be in context “blast” as that is the
FIRST definition!
g5456 phóné
blasts(1), cry (1), language (1), languages (1),
outcry (1), sound (15), sounds (4), statement (1), tone (1), utterance (3),
utterances (1), voice (102), voices (7).
It was at that moment, that the long wait for the one
foretold in The Heavenly Scroll was realized, and all the debate over which
“demi-god” was the one prophesied in the heavens was settled. This is
confirmed in Psalm 19… The Heavenly Scroll (the stars) proclaim that Yahusha is
the Glory of Yahuah, not an audible voice! It is “metaphorically” speaking just
like Matthew 3.
Psalm 19
1 The heavens proclaim the glory of Yahuah (which is Yahusha Hebrews 1:3); the stars
proclaim the work of his hands. 2 Day after day they pour forth speech; night
after night they reveal knowledge. 3 They have no speech, they use no words; no
sound is heard from them.
What John witnessed in Matthew 3:16-17, was Yahuah revealing
to him in his Spirit that Yahusha was the fulfillment of The Heavenly Scroll!
Yahuah “laid the argument to rest” as to who was the fulfillment of The
Heavenly Scroll by revealing to John “in his mind” that Yahusha was The
Messiah, and Yahuah had adopted him as Yahusha was being born again… John was
Elijah, The High Priest of Israel… and the people were waiting for John to
proclaim to them who the messiah was… John got his answer “in his mind”
Spiritually discerned at that moment… and then went forth from there and
proclaimed Yahusha was the Messiah!
This same thing happened to John the Revelator, as “Heaven”
opened up for him too, and a shofar blast proclaimed to him Yahusha is the
fulfillment of The Plan of Salvation written in The Heavenly Scroll.
Revelation 4
1 The Throne in Heaven After this I looked,
and behold, a door was opened in The Heavenly Scroll; and the first voice which
I heard was (Yahuah, the Aleph/Tav), as it
were, of a Shofar Blast talking with me”
I produced a video on exactly what John “saw” below proving
it was The Heavenly Scroll….
