Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace

Another misquoted passage of scripture to promote the Incarnation is found in Isaiah.  The confusion comes in because Yahuah through inheritance gave dominion, power, and authority by extension to Yahusha His son and proxy after Yahusha’s resurrection.  The confusion is created by the fact there are two thrones as I have stated before:

Revelation 5:13

13 And I heard every creature which is in heaven and on the earth, and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, saying, “Blessing and honor and glory and power be unto Him (Yahuah) that sitteth upon the throne of Creation, and unto the Lamb (who sites on Yahuah’s right hand on the throne of The Kingdom of Yahuah ) for ever and ever!”

As Yahuah’s proxy and perfect human image (reflection) of the Glory of Yahuah, Yahusha is called by titles.  The titles below have been used in justification of The Trinity, and Incarnation.  The titles below must be understood IN CONTEXT of the entire Word of Yahuah to understand them.

·       The first title “Mighty God” is in context referring to Yahusha as the “perfect human image of the invisible God”.

Colossians 1:15-20

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Yahuah all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Yahuah and for Yahusha. 17 And Yahuah is before all things, and in Yahuah all things hold together. 18 And Yahusha is the head of the body, the church. Yahusha is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything Yahusha might be preeminent. 19 For in Yahusha all the fullness of Yahuah’s Spirit was pleased to dwell, 20 and through Yahusha, Yahuah would reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross (Yahuah would reconcile creation in covenant with Yahusha).

·       The second title below “Father of Everlasting” is not saying Yahusha is the Everlasting Father Yahuah.  That title, like Abraham who is called the “Father of Faith” meaning the forefather of faith, is referring to the fact that Yahusha is the forerunner or forefather to attain eternal life; he is the first born son.  He is the forefather of Everlasting Life.

Below is the scripture used to justify that “Jesus is God in the flesh”.  I have put in blue parenthesis the scripture below in context:

Isaiah 9:6-7

"For to us a child is born (born means human birth, begotten means birth as a son of Yahuah), to us a son (of man) is given, and the government shall be on his shoulders and he will be called Wonderful Counselor, (the perfect image of) Mighty God, (fore) Father of Everlasting (life), and Prince of Peace."  There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, on the Throne of David and over His Kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore.

We see the clear difference between Yahuah and Yahusha below:

Daniel 7

13 “I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One (Yahusha) like a Son of Man was coming, And He (Yahusha) came up to the Ancient of Days (Yahuah, they are not the same being) And was presented before Him. 14 “And to Him (Yahusha) was given (by Yahuah as an inheritance) dominion, Glory and a kingdom, That all the peoples, nations and men of every language Might serve Him (not worship Yahusha, we serve Yahusha in The Kingdom). His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed.

“Call his name Immanuel”

“Immanuel” is a Hebrew name with “meaning” that gives glory to Yahuah.  It, like Yahusha and Elijah, is a contracted sentence name (Imman – u – El) and as such can be a “title” not just a name.  In Hebrew it is a contracted form of the sentence (Faithful and True Witness of Yahuah). It does not mean “God is with us” as it taught in the false Christian Church.

The word “aman” is the root in Hebrew of eman, or iman (the beginning of Immanuel)’?  Aman it is the same word and there are three; aman(u), amen(u) and iman(u). The word trail (with Strong’s numbers) is: Aman (H6004), Amen (H543) and Iman (H5973). There is also emune(ah), which means "I am one of them that are faithful and peaceable".  We must, in the case of Hebrew, study the word trail to come to a full understanding of a “sentence name” or “title” such as Immanuel:

Strong’s H-6005. 'Immanuw'el, im-maw-noo-ale';

from {A.}H-5973 and {B.}H-410 with suff. pron. ins.; with us (is) God; Immanuel, a typ. name of Isaiah's son:--Immanuel.

Strong’s H-5973. 'im, eem;

from H-6004; adv. or prep. with (i.e. in conjunction with ), in varied applications; spec. equally with; often with prep. pref. (and then usually unrepresented in English):-- accompanying, against, and, as (X long as), before, beside, by (reason of), for all, from (among, between), in, like, more than, of, (un-) to, with (-al).

Strong’s H-410. 'el, ale;

short. from H-352; strength; as adj. mighty; espec. the Almighty (but used also of any deity):--God (god), X goodly, X great, idol, might (-y one), power, strong. Comp. names in "-el."

Strong’s H-6004. 'amam, aw-mam';

a prim. root; to associate; by impl. to overshadow (by huddling together):--become dim, hide;

Strong’s H-539 ‘aman aw’man;

Primary root word; properly, to build up or support; to foster as a parent or nurse; figuratively to render (or be) firm or faithful, to trust or believe, to be permanent or quiet; morally to be true or certain; once (Isa. 30:21; interchangeable 541) to go to the right hand:--hence, assurance, believe, bring up, establish, + fail, be faithful (of long continuance, stedfast, sure, surely, trusty, verified), nurse, (-ing father), (put), trust, turn to the right. (Click on the word “aman” above for the full Gesenius Hebrew-Chaldee definition, which I recommend that you do)

 Strong’s H-352. 'ayil, ah'-yil;

from the same as H-193; prop. strength; hence anything strong; spec. a chief (politically); also a ram (from his strength); a pilaster (as a strong support); an oak or other strong tree:--mighty (man), lintel, oak, post, ram, tree.

Strong’s H-193. 'uwl, ool;

from an unused root mean. to twist, i.e. (by impl.) be strong; the body (as being rolled together); also powerful:--mighty, strength.

So, ame(a)nu'el, imanu'el and emune'el all are Immanuel and together give us the full meaning. It's like how Yeshu, Yeshua, Yahushua, and Yahusha are all the same name, but sometimes it is spelled with an “e” or an “a”. “I” is often pronounced with the YEH sound. In fact, those that call themselves Ethiopian Jews say Amanu’el, which (to them) means “to have faith in Elohim, my faith is in EL, Amen (Amon, Imam, Magnet, Faith)” and claim this was a literal name for Yahusha, even citing Revelation 3:14.

Revelation 3:14

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen (aman), the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of Yahuah;

The word “aman” defines itself there – a “faithful and true witness” of Yahuah.  It is not just given to the Messiah, or Isaiah's son, but Yahuah Himself is also called "faithful and true".  Moses and Samuel were called faithful witnesses they are “Immanuel”, as are many others.

Immanuel is a title and not a literal name (much like Elijah is a title) - even though the prophecy has been misapplied and the word mistranslated as "god with us" in order to promote the church’s falsely claimed position of Yahusha's deity.  Discernment tells us, however, that Yahusha WAS an Aman’el, and any other person who is faithful to Yahuah’s two witnesses (The Law and The Prophets) is also an Aman’el.
